IHG Hotels & Resorts signs dual-branded property in London’s vibrant Waterloo

🏨 Expected last quarter 2028, IHG Hotels & Resorts, in partnership with Palm Holdings, will open voco London – Waterloo (182 rooms) and Hotel Indigo & Suites London – Waterloo (172 rooms) in Central London. Located near iconic attractions, the hotels will offer shared amenities and sustainable design targeting BREEAM Excellent certification. IHG's expansion includes 363 UK hotels open, 33 in the pipeline. Architectural collaboration by Studio Moren aims for engaging, locally inspired environments.

Ascott expands Crest Collection into East Asia and the Middle East

🏨 Ascott, the hospitality arm of CapitaLand Investment, rapidly expands its luxury brand, The Crest Collection, adding over 1,200 units in Japan, China, UAE, and Saudi Arabia. By 2029, SEN/KA TOKYO opens as the first Japanese property. Al Mahra Resort in Ras Al Khaimah launches in 2027, marking the first resort. The brand now boasts 16 properties in 13 cities. To support growth, Ascott introduced The Crest Chronicles, a program celebrating each property's heritage stories.

The menu includes creatively named sushi rolls and other dishes, offering a unique dining experience. All locations operate as franchises.

[Update] Radisson Collection expands with seven new openings in 2025

🏨 Radisson Collection will expand in 2025 with new hotels in Lyon, Budapest, Berlin, Brussels, Lake Como, and Casablanca. In 2024, they opened hotels in Roma Antica, Riverfront Srinagar, and Cape Town. The Lyon hotel features 61 bespoke rooms, a spa, and a restaurant. The Budapest hotel opens in March, Berlin in April with a 16-meter-high vertical garden, and Brussels in Q2. Lake Como follows in Q3, and Casablanca in Q4. These expansions include the "Taste of Heritage" culinary series.

Marriott debuts StudioRes brand in Fort Myers, Fla.
