📆 Minor Hotels aims to expand its portfolio to 850 properties by 2027. New luxury and select-segment brands include The Wolseley Hotels, Minor Reserve Collection, Colbert Collection, and iStay Hotels. These brands cater to diverse traveler needs, from luxury experiences to affordability. The initiative follows the March 2025 launch of Minor Hotels' masterbrand, aligning with their strategic growth plan. Chief Commercial Officer Ian Di Tullio emphasized these brands will enhance market presence and meet evolving travel demands.

🏨 Hilton is expanding in Türkiye, adding eight new properties in 2023, including diverse locations such as Istanbul, Izmir, Edirne, and Mersin. Notable openings: Elika Cave Suites Cappadocia (36 rooms, late 2025), Palazzo Donizetti in Istanbul (79 rooms, autumn 2025), and Hotel Konak Izmir (92 rooms, July 2026). The Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus is undergoing an $80 million renovation. These expansions highlight Hilton's strategic focus on both urban centers and emerging destinations.

🏨 Mama Shelter Zurich, the group's 19th hotel, opens in Switzerland’s Oerlikon district, offering a fusion of hotel and living space. Inspired by Swiss culture and landscapes, the interior features warm materials and bright colors. The hotel includes versatile spaces for work and leisure, from 16 to 260 square meters. Dining highlights include Mama's Restaurant with wood-fired pizzas and Mama's Garden rooftop. This opening follows Mama Shelter Dubai and precedes Toulon and a Paris location.

🏨 IHG Hotels & Resorts opened Hotel Indigo London Clerkenwell on 6 June 2025. Located at 2 Clerkenwell Road, just five minutes from Farringdon Station, it offers 143 guest rooms and 9 suites. Owned by the Davies family and operated by Axiom Hospitality, the hotel features the Wilderness Kitchen and Sabini Bar, and includes two meeting rooms for up to 60 guests. The Hat and Feathers pub provides a unique venue for events, reflecting Clerkenwell’s historical character.

🍺 Jennings Brewery reopened on July 4th, reintroducing historic beers and two new ones in Cockermouth, Cumbria. Originally closed in 2022, it returned to family ownership in February 2023. The brewery launched a new taproom, offering beer in casks and bottles, with local pubs prioritized for supply. Future plans include expanded facilities and events. Head Brewer Buster Grant uses traditional methods and ingredients, reviving local favorites. Orders are now being taken, with ongoing site development.

🏨 Hilton announced The Derby London City, Curio Collection by Hilton, in partnership with Dominus. Opening early 2026, this will be the tenth UK property in the Curio Collection. Located on Great Tower Street, the hotel features 237 rooms, including 10 suites, a restaurant, a gym, and meeting spaces. The project supports the City of London's "Destination City" strategy, aiming to enhance the business and leisure appeal of the Square Mile. Hilton Honors members can earn points and enjoy exclusive benefits.

🏨 NYX Hotel Erfurt features 284 rooms, including 31 suites, with options like the exclusive Heaven Suite. Set in Erfurt, the hotel offers a 17th-floor spa with city views. The conference area, 60 meters high, includes 13 rooms for up to 400 guests. Part of Leonardo Hotels' expansion, it joins eight existing East German locations. Future projects include NYX Hotel Leipzig in 2026, Leonardo Hannover Medical Park, and Leonardo Mainz in August 2025.

🏨 £200 million development opening in autumn 2028 spans 16,000 square meters across 13 storeys near Charing Cross Station, London. Whitbread's hub by Premier Inn will employ 150 staff, prioritizing local hires. Utilizing slipform concrete, the hotel will run on renewable electricity, supporting Whitbread's zero carbon goal by 2040. Whitbread expands with Dorset House acquisition in South London and a Vauxhall Premier Inn, bolstering its presence in key urban areas.

🏨 Kempinski manages 79 properties, focusing on luxury and quality over volume. A strategic partnership with China's BTG aims to develop a new brand with 200 hotels in five years. The first Bristoria hotel opens this year in Yangzhou. Plans include expanding in Europe, resorts, and maintaining presence in the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Upcoming openings include Kempinski Residences in Baku and a resort in Romania. The company emphasizes a stable, long-term strategy with decision centers in Switzerland and Dubai.

🏨 Designed by Philippe Starck, the "Oh Baby" hotel in Dunkirk, France, will integrate luxury, contemporary design, and gastronomy. The project, supported by Atream and developed by the Trigano family, includes a 3 km seawall extension, an 800-meter "dune dike," and a green loop. Cyril Lignac will manage a rooftop restaurant. This initiative aims to promote sustainability and enhance Dunkirk’s hospitality sector, aligning with urban regeneration goals to improve waterfront access and green spaces.
