Flamingo Resort & Spa Joins the Tapestry Collection by Hilton

🪶 In Santa Rosa, California, the Flamingo Resort & Spa, established in 1957, is now part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton. Managed by Pyramid Global Hospitality and owned by Palm House Hospitality, the resort offers 170 rooms and suites, 20,000 square feet of event space, a spa with signature treatments like the only Hydrafacial in Santa Rosa, and a fitness & wellness center. Guests can enjoy venues such as Lazeaway Club and Wild Bird cafe, as well as Vintage Space lounge.

Kokin: A New Japanese Restaurant From Chef Daisuke Shimoyama In The Heart Of East London

The design-led hotel, part of Marriott's Autograph Collection, is near Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Kokin emphasizes seasonality, tradition, and a zero-waste ethos with dishes like Woodfire x Charcoal Grilled Turbot and sustainable bluefin tuna from Spanish and Portuguese waters. Wyndham moves to jumpstart Super 8 expansion in Southern Europe

📰 Wyndham Hotels & Resorts partners with Soliteight Hotel Projects SA to introduce Super 8 in Spain and Portugal, planning 40 hotels within a decade. The first hotel will open in Leiria, Portugal in Q4 2027. Modular construction will be utilized predominantly. Wyndham aims to fill the budget-friendly accommodation gap, with Spain having received a record 94 million international visitors in 2024 and a 3.2% GDP growth that year. Spain and Portugal have a 10% lower budget brand penetration compared to other European markets, despite a 142% RevPAR increase since 2019. Wyndham has over 550 European hotels, with existing Spanish and Portuguese properties under different brands.

Room Mate Hotels expands in Switzerland

Over 1.22 million guests were hosted, with an occupancy rate over 86%. The company expands in Europe with 33 hotels across 15 cities, planning further expansion in cities like Lisbon and Paris.

Mercure unveils a new hotel in Portugal

🏡 Accor opened the Mercure Ponta Delgada Azores in Ponta Delgada, Portugal, situated in the historic Pensão Central building. The hotel features 75 rooms, two outdoor pools, a spa, and meeting facilities for 60 guests. Aiming for an authentic Azorean experience, Accor’s property includes the Bruma Bar with local cuisine and curated insider recommendations like visiting the Porto Formoso Tea Factory. Celebrating Mercure’s 50th anniversary in 2023, Accor now has 38 properties in Portugal and plans to surpass 1,000 hotels globally by 2024.

Starhotels acquires Hermitage Hotel Forte dei Marmi

Versace Mansion sister hotel Donatella to open this May

🏡 The Donatella Boutique Hotel & Restaurant, linked to Versace Mansion, is set to open in May 2025 in Miami’s Art Deco district at 1350 Collins Avenue. Owned jointly by Nakash Group and Vida & Estilo Hospitality, who acquired the 1922 Wallace Tutt-designed building in 2022, it offers six rooms, a 170-seat Italian restaurant by chef Alessandro Morrone, and a 15-person private dining area. IHG Hotels & Resorts signs first voco hotels in Türkiye

🏨 IHG Hotels & Resorts partners with Pınarlar Kurumsal Hizmetler Turizm A.Ş. to open the first voco hotel in Türkiye, voco Antalya Konyaaltı, in summer 2025. Located in the heart of Antalya, known as the 'Turkish Riviera', voco Antalya Konyaaltı will offer 120 rooms. The city annually attracts millions of tourists to its Mediterranean coastline. The hotel will feature a restaurant, bar, meeting rooms, spa, gym, and outdoor pool. IHG currently has 33 open hotels in Türkiye across five brands and 12 pipeline properties across six brands in the country, with 19 voco hotels in Europe.
