Eurostars Hotel Company opens five-star boutique hotel in Matera

🏠 Eurostars Hotel Company, part of the Hotusa Group, has expanded its Italian presence with a new five-star boutique hotel, Eurostars Matera La Suite, in UNESCO-listed Matera, Basilicata region. The company now boasts 12 properties in Italy, making it their third most important market. The Eurostars Matera La Suite features 40 suites, a Mediterranean restaurant, a wellness area, and a meeting room, catering to both leisure and business travelers. The hotel maintains historical architecture, aligning with Eurostars' strategy for premium development in culturally significant European locations.

Premier Inn expands footprint in Munich with new hotel in Werksviertel district

🏨 Premier Inn Germany plans to open a new hotel in Munich's Werksviertel district by 2028, its seventh in the city. Located on the iCampus near the Ostbahnhof, the hotel will offer about 190 rooms, 50 underground parking spaces, and span approximately 6,850 square meters. The i10 building is the final plot on the iCampus and is part of a larger urban development. Premier Inn has 61 hotels in Germany and Vienna, with another 39 in development, aiming to strengthen its position in the value-driven hotel segment.

Haii Keii in Houston features a dramatic, futuristic design inspired by the films ‘Blade Runner’ and ‘Kill Bill’

🎭 Haii Keii, a restaurant in Houston's River Oaks/Upper Kirby neighborhood, opened on February 18 offering a 3,000 square foot indoor space with an additional 1,000 square feet of outdoor patio seating. The design by Gin Braverman and Gin Design Group channels "Blade Runner" and "Kill Bill". Executive chef Jeffrey Taylor and sushi chef Jose Espinoza crafted a menu with cold plates, hot plates, vegetables, fried rice, nigiri, maki, and steaks. Managing partner Jarred Tosto emphasizes Haii Keii as an immersive, vibrant dining experience.

Big Mamma opens Gloria Osteria in Barcelona’s Eixample district

Sina Hotels to expand Milan property

🏡 Sina Hotels won a €43-million tender to renovate Galleria Ciro Fontana in Milan, expanding Sina The Gray with 30 additional rooms, a wellness center, and a new restaurant. Post-2027 renovation, the hotel's room count will exceed 52. The 1958-founded hotel chain, with 11 luxury properties, is overseen by Bernabò Bocca. Architect Guido Ciompi will lead the project, increasing hotel space by over 21,500 square feet and adding amenities like a spa, fitness center, and panoramic restaurant.

Hotel Indigo Auckland opens in Midtown tower

A New ‘Nonna’ Menu at Hilton Lake Como’s Streetfood Pop-Up
