🏠 McKays Hotel, part of Turas Hotels, expanded in Pitlochry with a £250,000 conversion of an Italian café into a townhouse. Opened recently, it offers seven en-suite rooms and two self-catering apartments. This follows a £1.25m investment three years ago. Pitlochry, attracting 500,000 yearly visitors, benefits from tourism boosts like Alan Cumming's role at Pitlochry Festival Theatre. McKays aims to meet demand for upscale lodging, appealing to longer-stay guests.

🏨 Accor will bring Mövenpick to the UK by 2027, converting the Old Thorns Estate in Hampshire into a 194-room Mövenpick Hampshire – Old Thorns. The renovation includes guestrooms, wellness and leisure facilities, and dining concepts. The estate features a championship golf course, 2,500 sqm of conference facilities, four restaurants, and a ballroom for over 500 guests. Located an hour from London, the project expands Accor's presence in the UK and Ireland, aligning with its growth strategy.

🏖️ Morea House, Autograph Collection opened in Camps Bay, Cape Town, offering 90 rooms with ocean and mountain views. Designed by Tristan du Plessis, it features a modern aesthetic using natural materials. Dining includes OMRI's Lebanese-South African fusion and a poolside restaurant. 🏨 Berlin, Germany, December 11, 2025 – Le Clay, opening in Lavaux, Switzerland, summer 2026, partners with Shiji for a fully integrated digital experience. The 35-hectare estate includes 105 rooms, 2 restaurants, and wellness facilities. Shiji’s ecosystem offers seamless operations with Daylight PMS, Infrasys POS, and more. Le Clay is the first of four hotels by Seiler Constantin, aiming for an experiential luxury approach with European-based support and cloud architecture. Reservations open late spring 2026.

🏨 Four Seasons and Catuaí Asset are set to launch the Four Seasons Hotel Rio de Janeiro at Leblon in 2029. Located on Leblon beach, the hotel will host about 120 rooms and suites with Atlantic Ocean views. The existing structure, Hotel Marina Palace, will undergo a full renovation. This luxury destination, 30 minutes from Galeão International Airport, will feature culinary venues, a rooftop bar, a signature restaurant, and a spa. The hotel enhances the evolving Leblon neighborhood.

📍 The Zetter is expanding with a 68-room hotel in Bloomsbury, London, opening March 2026. Situated in six interconnecting Georgian townhouses near Russell Square, designed by James Thurstan Waterworth, the hotel will offer amenities like The Parlour, The Orangery, and a gym with outdoor yoga space. The Zetter Bloomsbury is the brand's third London location, alongside its Marylebone and Clerkenwell sites.

🏖 Mövenpick Resort & Spa Bintan Lagoon will open in Q1 2026 on Bintan's northern coast, Indonesia. Just a ferry ride from Singapore, the resort features 420 rooms and suites, including 52 Premium Terrace Rooms. It offers six dining concepts, a beach club, spa, pools, sports courts, and a Recreation Village. The event space includes a 900 sqm Grand Ballroom and 1,100 sqm across 12 function rooms. Guests can access two championship golf courses by Jack Nicklaus and Ian Baker-Finch.

📚 Sofitel's Le Petit Prince Kids Club, inspired by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's tale, opens at Sofitel Krabi, Thailand. Spanning 175 sqm, the club features Creative, Move, Rest, and Immersive Areas, utilizing sustainable materials. Since 2011, Sofitel's initiatives have supported young generations, including donations of €3 per night to the Antoine de Saint-Exupéry Youth Foundation. Sofitel Krabi's broader enhancement, including Signature Rooms, completes in Q4 2026.

What? 116 serviced apartments, including studios and one-bedroom, catering to digital nomads and long-stay travellers. How? Features include terraces, private pools, co-working spaces, rooftop bars, dining, and wellness facilities. Radisson Hotel Group aims to expand in leisure markets. They operate three hotels in Indonesia with 579 keys and have three properties under development with 405 keys.
