Designed by James Thurstan Waterworth, it features over 500 cushions, European antiques, and 600+ vintage art catalogues. Rooms start at £210, with luxurious Junior and Terrace Suites. Guests enjoy a complimentary drink on arrival, with dining options in The Orangery and The Parlour. Situated near key attractions like the British Museum, it's a boutique stay balancing charm and central convenience.

🍴 Chef Alex Chang and sommelier Lina Goujjane launched Noury, a Japanese izakaya and modern wine and sake bar, in New York’s Soho. The intimate venue accommodates 39 guests, with a central five-seat bar. Designed by Studio Tre, Noury blends cultural traditions with contrasting materials like limestone, oak, and quartzite. The dining area features vintage and modern lighting, highlighted by verdigris bronze pendants. A handwoven abaca tapestry from the Philippines adorns the dining room’s south wall.

🏨 Planters Inn in Charleston is undergoing a major renovation, first in decades, set to complete by January 2027. The redesign of this 182-year-old hotel by Dallas-based Studio 11 Design will revamp guestrooms, suites, public spaces, and the Peninsula Grill restaurant. The project aims to preserve Southern hospitality and charm while updating modern comforts. Renovations will occur in two phases, with the Peninsula Grill starting its refresh in late August, staying open initially.

🌴 Practice Hospitality will open The Botany, a 20-villa resort and spa, in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, this winter. Located in The Preserve at Botany Bay, it is part of the L.V.X. Collection of Preferred Hotels & Resorts. The property spans over 50,000 square feet for events, featuring two pools, a spa, and a fitness center. The eco-friendly design integrates solar power and rainwater storage, promoting sustainability and minimizing environmental impact.

🏝️ South Beach, Florida—Royal Palm South Beach reopens after a $100 million-plus renovation. Originally built in 1939, it features 404 redesigned rooms across three towers, a private pool, and 18,000 sq. ft. of event space. The design, by EoA Group, blends Art Deco and modern elements. The hotel offers four dining venues led by chef Adrian Colameco and is managed by Pivot. It's a cultural landmark in Miami's Art Deco District.
