🏨 Set in a 250-acre historic estate in New York’s Hudson Valley, Troutbeck has been a retreat since 1765. Recently, four new guest cottages and a gatehouse were added, designed by Stonehill Taylor, respecting the landscape by minimizing site disturbance. Interiors by Champalimaud Design offer a connection to nature with operable windows and vibrant colors. The estate preserves its literary and cultural history, once hosting figures like Mark Twain and Ralph Waldo Emerson.

🏨 Travelodge, in partnership with Uplift Developments Ltd, is set to build a six-storey, 132-room hotel in Abbey Wood, south-east London, near Abbey Wood railway station. This project is part of the area's regeneration as defined in the London Plan. The hotel aims to support local business and leisure travel to locations like Canary Wharf, creating new employment opportunities. Abbey Wood's Elizabeth Line offers rapid transit to Canary Wharf (10 mins), Liverpool Street (16 mins), and Bond Street (23 mins).

🏨 OTH Hotels Resorts expands its East Coast presence with the addition of Heritage Hotel & Conference Center in Southbury, CT, and DoubleTree by Hilton Binghamton in NY. These two properties add 370 rooms and over 33,000 sq. ft. of meeting space. Heritage Hotel offers 163 rooms, a 2,500 sq. ft. amphitheater, and a golf course. DoubleTree features 207 rooms and overlooks the Chenango River. OTH manages operations, boosting its Northeast portfolio.

🏨 Mexican owner Carlos Zaragoza transformed El Cortés in Mexico City, a blend of old and new, over three years with local artisans. Located in Roma Norte, it features 15 romantic rooms and the Signature Suite 103 with a balcony. Lotti, on the ground floor, offers inventive dishes by Swiss chef Luc Liebster. El Cortés, at C.Colima 235, Roma Norte, combines style with heritage. Its thoughtful design creates a homely ambiance.

🏝 Marriott International and The Reef Resorts & Spa are set to convert three Playa del Carmen resorts into the Tribute Portfolio Collection by 2027, adding 676 rooms. Renovations start in late 2026. The Reef Playacar, The Reef 28, and The Reef Coco will undergo changes, with The Reef Coco expanding to 358 rooms by 2028. Tribute Portfolio has 10 properties with 1,350 rooms and plans to double by 2027. The resorts will accommodate 900 attendees for events.

🏨 Colwen Hotels has introduced the first hotel in Portland’s Thompson’s Point district: the dual-branded Residence Inn and Moxy Hotel. Opened in Portland, Maine, the five-story property offers 148 guestrooms. Residence Inn features 70 suites with kitchens for extended stays, while Moxy provides 78 tech-integrated rooms. Located near Portland Transportation Center and three miles from downtown, amenities include an indoor pool, fitness center, and Bar Moxy with local craft beers.

🍔 In 2023, the Martin Brudnizki-designed Broadwick Soho hotel in London opened at Broadwick Street and Berwick Street. Beefbar, founded in Monte Carlo in 2005 by Riccardo Giraudi, will open its UK flagship there, replacing Dear Jackie on 10 September 2026. This Soho location will feature an updated terrace and menu with Kobe, Wagyu, and London-specific dishes like Wagyu shepherd’s pie. The hotel is located at 20 Broadwick St, London W1F 8HT.

🏨 Valor Hospitality Partners expands to the West Coast by managing The Monsaraz, a 92-room hotel in San Diego's Point Loma. Opened in 2021, it's the first new hotel in the area in over a decade. This deal marks Valor's tenth U.S. acquisition this month. The hotel features Portuguese-themed design and cuisine at its Unico restaurant, supported by SAVOR by Valor. Valor operates in 75 cities across 26 countries, with more than 100 projects globally.

🏨 Viceroy Hotels & Residences is set to open Viceroy Park Avenue in December in Manhattan’s NoMad neighborhood. The hotel features 252 rooms, including four presidential suites, and over 15,000 square feet of event space. Meyer Davis designed the interiors, while Tao Group oversees dining with a ground-floor restaurant and a rooftop bar. Wellness amenities include a spa, fitness center, and a 2,100-square-foot Wellness Penthouse, offering in-room recovery technology.
