🏠 AVENEW Development and Hilton have signed an agreement to open Waldorf Astoria Dubai Islands and Waldorf Astoria Residences Dubai Islands. Located in Dubai, this project will feature 150 guest rooms and suites, and 120 branded residences. Facilities include dining venues and a spa. This marks AVENEW's sixth development in the area, highlighting Dubai's status in luxury hospitality. The initiative combines architectural excellence with Waldorf Astoria's signature service, enhancing the Dubai Islands community.

🏨 W Hotels, part of Marriott Bonvoy, is set to open its first property in Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah Financial District, Riyadh, this spring. W Riyadh - KAFD will feature 210 guest rooms, including 17 suites and 2 Penthouses. The hotel will offer 6 venues, including the W Lounge, and over 1,000 square meters of event space. Amenities include the AWAY Spa, FIT fitness center, and WET Deck. This marks a new chapter in luxury hospitality for the brand.

🏨 B3 Designers transformed Hobson House in Cambridge into The Hobson Cambridge by Adina, Adina's first UK property, with 56 studio apartments, meeting spaces, and a dining venue named Oz & Isle. The design respects the Victorian architecture while introducing modern features like lush greenery and nature-inspired artwork. The biophilic lobby and reception areas enhance the space's adaptability for day-to-night use, creating a welcoming aparthotel and vibrant social hub for guests and the local community.

🏨 Newport Hospitality Group expands its portfolio with Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites in Columbus Easton, Ohio, adding 240 rooms—144 at Hilton and 96 at Homewood. Located near Easton Town Center, these hotels offer over 6,000 sq ft of meeting space, aligning with Newport's growth strategy. Opened in December 2021, the properties are owned by Har and Rani Bhatnagar and enhance Newport's Hilton-managed hotels to 14, focusing on year-round demand in Columbus.

🏨 In 2025, Hilton expanded by adding 800 hotels and 100,000 rooms, achieving 6.7% net unit growth. The company signed 1,000 new hotels, totaling 140,000 rooms, and ended the year with 3,700 hotels under development across 520,000 rooms. Conversions made up 40% of openings, with 100,000 rooms starting construction. Hilton launched two new brands and surpassed 9,000 hotels in 143 countries, including openings in Rwanda and Pakistan. With a strong pipeline, Hilton expects 6–7% growth in 2026.

📈 Marriott International's global growth in 2025 included a 4.3% net room increase with over 700 new properties and nearly 100,000 rooms. The development pipeline reached approximately 610,000 rooms, a 5.7% increase. Key regional milestones: 94 deals in the Caribbean and Latin America, 187 in Asia Pacific excluding China, and 201 in Greater China. Notable brand expansions included citizenM, Series by Marriott, and new luxury openings like The Lake Como EDITION and W Punta Cana. Branded residences set records with 55 deals.

🏨 IHG Hotels & Resorts and Ruby Group are set to open the first U.S. Ruby Hotel in Chicago by 2027. Located near the Magnificent Mile, the project will transform the Inn of Chicago into a 22-story, 412-room hotel. Renovations start in late 2026, featuring a new lobby, rooftop terrace, and bar. Ruby Group partners with IHG and Berk Properties, leveraging its efficient hotel model. Ruby, founded in 2013, operates 35 hotels across Europe.

🏨 Corinthia Hotels, in collaboration with RoundShield and Kervis SGR, plans to open a luxury resort, Corinthia Lake Como, in Menaggio, Italy by 2028. The resort will feature 58 rooms, a beach club, spa, wellness and dining facilities, and a lakefront club. The project integrates restored heritage architecture with outdoor spaces and involves three branded residences. Corinthia Lake Como will be the company’s second Italian property, demonstrating a commitment to luxury and sustainability.

🏨 Oliver Hospitality expands with two new properties, The Nashville Reserve and The Sarasota Modern. The Nashville Reserve offers 61 units, including studio to two-bedroom layouts, while The Sarasota Modern adds 89 rooms in the Rosemary Arts District. Future projects include Hotel Aiken redevelopment in South Carolina, with an 80-room hotel and Detroit's renovation into a boutique hotel with over 100 rooms. The Sarasota Modern marks Oliver's entry into Florida as of November 2025.
