🏖 Perroquet, a revamped 1950s motel in Fort Lauderdale, offers 37 rooms on Harbor Drive between the Intracoastal Waterway and Atlantic Ocean. Redesigned by Belgian architect Bernard Dubois, it maintains the original U-shaped layout with a courtyard. The hotel features a lush off-white and forest green exterior, drawing inspiration from local aesthetics. Curators Valerio Polimeno and Whitney Lane provide an art collection including works by Jean Cocteau and Jeff Koons. Amenities include Sferra linens and Byredo toiletries.
