🏖 Perroquet, a revamped 1950s motel in Fort Lauderdale, offers 37 rooms on Harbor Drive between the Intracoastal Waterway and Atlantic Ocean. Redesigned by Belgian architect Bernard Dubois, it maintains the original U-shaped layout with a courtyard. The hotel features a lush off-white and forest green exterior, drawing inspiration from local aesthetics. Curators Valerio Polimeno and Whitney Lane provide an art collection including works by Jean Cocteau and Jeff Koons. Amenities include Sferra linens and Byredo toiletries.

📍 Aspen Hospitality announced Nell Hotels, with The Nell New York debuting in fall 2027 as the first hotel within Rockefeller Center, and The Little Nell in Aspen closing in April 2027 for renovation, reopening for the 2027-2028 ski season. The Nell New York represents a $350M investment, featuring 134 rooms and exclusive amenities. The Little Nell, renowned for its ski-in/ski-out access, will enhance guest experiences while maintaining operations in its exclusive Residences.

📈 Accor's luxury hotel pipeline in China is expanding, with more than 40 projects underway and 50 already operational. Recent partnerships include Jin Jiang International and Sunmei Hotels Group. Key projects are located in Hangzhou, Xi'an, Pujiang, and Shanghai. Accor reports a 46% increase in international guests in Mainland China this year, with strong growth from Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and Europe. Collaboration with H World Group continues to support Accor's brand development in China.

🏨 On 7 July, Hyatt Regency London Olympia opened with 204 rooms, marking an expansion of Hyatt’s presence in the UK. The hotel is part of the £1.3bn Olympia regeneration in Kensington, aiming to transform the area into a mixed-use destination. Hyatt operates 18 UK hotels and plans further growth, leveraging a 66 million-member loyalty program. Since 2017, Hyatt has doubled its luxury rooms and expanded its all-inclusive and lifestyle portfolios.

🏖 On July 3, 2026, in Le Palais, Accor and Banque des Territoires formalized a partnership focusing on the Vauban Citadel restoration, aiming for a 2027 hotel opening. Belle-Île, with 5,600 residents, hosts over 100,000 summer visitors. The project promises 100 permanent and 70 seasonal jobs. The future hotel includes 90 rooms, a wellness center, and a museum. This major restoration involves 9,000 m² renovations, with 200 tradespeople, supported by Eiffage, and funded by Banque des Territoires and Caisse d’Épargne Bretagne.

📍 Hawkins Way Capital launched FOUND Hotels, Chicago, the fourth hotel under the Series by Marriott brand, with a debut of several guest experience upgrades. The conversion advances a September 2025 partnership to convert FOUND Hotels into Series by Marriott properties. Located in River North, Chicago, the hotel features refreshed interiors and new amenities, including a 24/7 co-working space, a meeting room, and a gym. It provides easy access to Chicago's popular neighborhoods and landmarks.

💡 David Rockwell designed The Hand & The Eye, a 36,000 sq ft venue for magic in Chicago's McCormick Mansion, dating back to 1895. Opened after a five-year renovation, it functions as a private club and performance venue. The space includes intimate magic performances and features secret doors, custom decor, and adjustable tables. It's located at 100 E Ontario St, Chicago, IL 60611. The project was commissioned by Glen Tullman, combining architecture and magic.

🏨 Langham Hospitality Group's Cordis Hotels & Resorts brand opened Cordis, Xi’an in Airport New City near Xi’an Xianyang International Airport. The hotel features 252 guestrooms and suites with Tang Dynasty-inspired design. Facilities include a pillarless ballroom and a Ming Court restaurant. Developed with Xi’an Hao Rui Property Co., Ltd., it caters to business and leisure travelers. This launch aligns with the “Let Your Heart Rule” campaign, emphasizing personalized guest experiences.
