🏨 Mandarin Oriental, Jeddah, scheduled for a 2030 opening, will feature a hotel and residences at Jeddah Central on the Red Sea. Designed by KPF, it includes 140 guestrooms, 115 apartments, and 187 residences. Amenities: five dining venues, entertainment, spa, and event spaces. Collaborators include Jeddah Central Development Company. Jeddah, a hub with six million annual visitors, aims to enhance its global business and cultural appeal with this development.

🏖 BodyHoliday Algarve, a wellness resort in Portugal's Eastern Algarve, opens in 2029. Just 45 minutes from Faro Airport, it spans 26 acres with 175 accommodations and a 40,000-square-foot Wellness Center. The $9 trillion wellness economy by 2028 fuels this expansion. SunSwept Resorts' executive team, including COO Indu Brar and CFO Jean-Charles Denis, leads the project. The resort features a FIFA-standard soccer field and diverse wellness programs, designed by London's Gensler.

💰 Hilton will introduce the Diamond Reserve tier in January 2026, offering enhanced benefits like a confirmable upgrade reward and guaranteed 4 p.m. late checkout. Gold status will require 25 nights (down from 40), while Diamond status needs 50 nights (down from 60). Diamond Reserve necessitates 80 nights and $18,000 annual spend. Members gain premium upgrades at over 1,000 Hilton luxury properties. Hilton also offers no blackout dates and no resort fees on rewards stays.

📍 Crestline Hotels & Resorts will manage Georgetown University's Hoya Hotel in Washington, D.C., reopening in spring 2026 after a major renovation. The five-story, 146-guestroom facility will feature 13,000 square feet for events, an open lobby, and modern amenities. Crestline has managed university hotels for over 20 years, including those at Georgia Tech and Emory. As their fifth university property, the Hoya Hotel aims to integrate hospitality excellence with academic needs.

🏨 In San Diego's Little Italy, Courtyard by Marriott debuts a 334-room hotel featuring expansive guest suites, over 10,000 sq. ft. of event space, and Mediterranean-Californian dining. Located at 1646 Front St, the hotel offers six types of modern rooms, including the 820 sq. ft. Midway Suite. 🌍 Kerzner International Holdings has announced Atlantis and One&Only projects in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, aligning with the Vision 2030 plan. Located on the Red Sea, Atlantis Jeddah will have 800 rooms, over 20 dining options, and the Aquaventure Waterpark. One&Only Resort will feature private homes and event spaces. Both aim to boost Jeddah's tourism and lifestyle appeal, with sustainability and cultural immersion as key focuses. The site is 30 minutes from Jeddah International Airport.

🏨 Kimpton, part of IHG's luxury portfolio, introduces the Kimpton Mirador Pacific Grove this winter in California's Monterey Peninsula. The 4-story boutique hotel features 99 rooms, Spanish Revival architecture, and local art, offering a luxurious coastal experience. Guests can enjoy The Caledonian restaurant, a 3,173 sq. ft. courtyard, and wellness activities. Positioned near landmarks like Monarch Grove Sanctuary, it emphasizes community with pet-friendly stays and exclusive giveaways for locals during the opening week.
