📆 Rosewood Hotel Group appointed Kenny Toy as SVP, commercial, global. Reporting to COO Anthony Ingham, Toy is based in Hong Kong and will manage global commercial strategy. With over 20 years in commercial, marketing, and digital transformation, Toy aims to enhance sales, marketing, and revenue management. Previously managing director of Accenture Song in Hong Kong SAR, Toy's expertise in digital transformation and customer experience will drive growth and long-term value for Rosewood's portfolio.

🏨 Nick Lawson named general manager of Forest Pines, a four-star resort in Lincolnshire, after an eight-month career break. With 30 years of experience, including positions at Woodbury Park Hotel and Radisson Hotels, Lawson joins the QHotels Collection this autumn. Forest Pines features 188 guestrooms, a 27-hole golf course, spa, pool, and dining rooms. Lawson plans to lead upcoming projects for the resort's growth with Jan Willem Lensen and Shaune Ayers.

💰 Johnny Langton was appointed head of operations for an unnamed residential platform backed by AustralianSuper, launching with £500 million to become a top UK rental home operator within five years. Karim Malak will lead The Boost Society, BNP Paribas's PBSA division, aiming for €3 billion in assets. Casago acquired Vacasa for $128 million in May 2025, and Joe Riley will succeed founder Steve Schwab as CEO in October 2026. Real Estate:UK appointed Vanessa Hale as its first chief executive.

📌 Sean Clancy has been appointed general manager of Hilton San Diego Bayfront. With over 30 years of hospitality experience, Clancy previously served as vice president and general manager at Sheraton San Diego, overseeing a $127 million renovation. He has held senior roles in Miami Beach and Philadelphia, and spent eight years with Hilton at Waldorf Astoria resorts. Clancy is active in San Diego, serving on several local boards.

🍳 Mirko Spalvieri, appointed head chef at Hilton Cambridge City Centre on July 13, 2026, brings 15 years of experience from Italy and the UK. He will manage food operations at Bull and Bass Restaurant and The Piano Bar. Spalvieri previously worked at Michelin-listed Satricum and, after relocating to the UK in 2019, at The Ivy Cambridge Brasserie. Hilton plans to relaunch its food outlets in summer 2027 after a hotel renovation.

🏨 Gary Wallace and Akshada Kodag have joined BWH Hotels GB as CFO and national sales manager, respectively, leading the company's expansion in Great Britain. In the past year, the group has seen a 10% increase in meetings and events revenue and a 16% rise in advance bookings. BWH Hotels aims to add 8,000 rooms by 2029, focusing on premium properties in northern cities, and has recently expanded its portfolio by 291 new signings.
