Hyatt Names Adam Rohman as New Head of Americas, Succeeding Pete Sears Effective July 1

🏨 Adam Rohman will become Hyatt's head of Americas on July 1, succeeding Pete Sears, who retires after nearly 40 years. Rohman, currently SVP of investor relations and finance, will oversee operations in the Americas, including hotels in classics, essentials, and luxury portfolios. Sears will assist through the transition post-June 30. Hyatt is seeking Rohman's successor. CEO Mark Hoplamazian praises Rohman's strategic leadership and deep business understanding.

Romain Meiran Appointed Chief Operating Officer of Monte-Carlo SBM, Oversees Hotels and Expansions Beyond Monaco

🏨 Romain Meiran's career spans three decades at top luxury hotels, starting in 1993 at Nikko hotels and including roles at Ritz Paris, Plaza Athénée, and Le Meurice. In 2023, Meiran joined Groupe Barrière as Director of Hotels. By 2027, SBM plans to open Monte-Carlo One in Courchevel. From 1 July 2026, a leaner Executive Committee will include Meiran as COO. This move aims to enhance operational excellence and align with evolving customer expectations.
