Tallinn, Estonia, 2 November 2026 – Renovation work begins today at the Tallink Spa & Conference Hotel in Tallinn. The project will see a complete refurbishment of the water and sauna centre, as well as the hotel’s third and fourth floors. The beauty and wellness centre, restaurant and communal areas will also be upgraded. The hotel is scheduled to reopen to guests in June 2027.
“This project goes far beyond updating the hotel’s appearance – we are reimagining the overall guest experience. Our spa is already highly rated by guests, and the renewed facilities will offer even more opportunities to unwind after a busy day, enjoy a relaxing getaway or spend quality time with the family,” said Ave Svarts, a member of the Tallink Hotels board. “The new concept has been developed with our guests in mind, taking into account their needs and expectations for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.”
A renewed water park and more self-service
The renewed water park will offer a mix of classic and more distinctive sauna experiences, refreshed swimming pools and hot tubs, as well as new water attractions and leisure activities. The hotel will also introduce convenient self-service solutions and expand its range of additional services. Every aspect of the guest experience has been carefully considered to make everyone feel welcome, whether visiting for a holiday, a business trip or a special event.
A new name: Tallink Spa Hotel
The hotel will also have a new name following the renovation: Tallink Spa Hotel.
“While we are dropping the word ‘Conference’ from the name, our event centre will continue to offer excellent facilities for conferences, events and celebrations. However, the spa is what truly sets this hotel apart, and that will remain its defining feature. Whether guests come primarily to enjoy a family holiday or appreciate having a spa as an added benefit when attending an event, we want the hotel’s name to reflect what makes it special,” Ave Svarts explained.
Completing the hotel’s modernisation
The hotel, which celebrates its 20th anniversary in March, last underwent a major renovation in 2019, when the second and fifth floors, the lobby and the Nero restaurant were thoroughly refurbished. The current project will complete the modernisation of the remaining areas. The restaurant and conference centre will continue to host special events until the end of February, after which they will also undergo refurbishment.
Following the renovation of Tallink City Hotel in 2021 and the major refurbishment of Tallink Express Hotel in 2026, Tallink Spa Hotel will be the third hotel in the Tallink Hotels portfolio to undergo a major renewal. The hotel is scheduled to welcome guests again in June 2027.
