A 50-room hotel undergoes one bed bug infestation annually, leading to the fumigation of five rooms and an annual full-property chemical treatment, resulting in 70.8 tons of CO₂ per year. Valpas CEO Martim Gois advocates for a non-toxic, digital solution to replace harmful chemicals. Valpas aims to expand its 'hospitality standard' to 2 million beds by 2030, following a €4m seed funding round led by Zenith VC.
