Italian hotel tech company Blastness accelerates international expansion with launch of BlastnessPay

Milan, 6 October 2026 –  Blastness, a leading Italian provider of technology and digital services for the hospitality sector, has launched BlastnessPay, an integrated payment solution designed to automate the entire payment cycle, from booking to reconciliation, across both direct and indirect channels.

Founded in Italy, where it works with more than 2,000 hotels, Blastness provides technology spanning direct booking and distribution, revenue intelligence, digital marketing and business intelligence. As the company grows internationally, the launch of BlastnessPay extends that ecosystem into payments and introduces a new capability to hotels across European markets.

Developed in collaboration with global financial technology platform Adyen, BlastnessPay is natively integrated with the Blastness CRS and wider Blastness Suite, connecting payments directly with booking, distribution and revenue management processes to help protect revenue and simplify payment operations.

For guests, payments remain within the booking flow rather than being redirected, helping reduce friction at checkout and limit booking abandonment. For hotel teams, the platform automates the payment lifecycle and provides greater visibility over transactions, due dates and payment costs.

Based on its analysis of hotels already using the technology, Blastness estimates that automated payment management can save an average of around seven minutes per transaction. For a seasonal 150-room hotel processing more than 6,400 deposit and final-payment transactions, this could equate to more than 90 person-days of administrative time each year.

The platform also automates complex payment workflows, including deposits, pre-authorisations, refunds, instalments, OTA virtual credit cards and different payment deadlines according to booking conditions. Automated collections and reconciliation help reduce time spent on manual checks, missed payments and incomplete reconciliations, while giving hotel teams a clearer view of transactions, due dates and payment costs in one place.

Payment security is supported by advanced tokenization, meaning hotel staff never handle or see guests’ card details. This infrastructure, supported by Adyen, reduces the exposure of sensitive payment data while supporting stronger protection against fraud and chargebacks.

Andrea Delfini, Founder & CEO of Blastness, said: “With BlastnessPay, we are taking a strategic step forward and bringing payments into the ‘Blastness Suite’, the platform that brings together all the systems developed by Blastness for the hotel industry. We’re giving hotels a tool capable of managing the entire transaction cycle based on the terms of each booking. Our aim is to transform one of the most complex areas of hotel operations into an integrated, high-performance technology solution capable of protecting revenue, improving financial control and reducing manual activities, while ensuring simpler and more secure procedures and greater protection against disputes and fraud”.

BlastnessPay supports payments originating from hotel websites, CRM systems and online travel agencies, as well as transactions made on-property. It also integrates with leading property management systems, including Oracle Hospitality OPERA.

Gabriele Bellezze, Country Manager at Adyen Italy said: “In the hospitality sector, payments are no longer an activity separate from booking management, but an essential component of the guest experience and operational efficiency. Together with Blastness, we are providing hotels with a single infrastructure capable of connecting online and on-property payment flows, automating processes and providing greater control throughout the payment lifecycle. The combination of Blastness’s vertical expertise and our global technology enables accommodation facilities to address the complexities of the market more simply.”

BlastnessPay supports credit and debit cards, digital wallets, bank transfers and a wide range of local and international payment methods, giving guests greater choice according to their location and preferences.

Interactive dashboards within the Blastness Suite centralise information on transactions, commission costs and reconciliation, helping hotel teams identify anomalies and maintain greater control over revenue.

BlastnessPay has already been operational for several months at major Italian hotels and represents an important expansion of the wider Blastness technology ecosystem.
