🏨 Drury Hotels will open its newest property, the Drury Plaza Hotel Tampa Brandon, in Brandon, Florida, accepting reservations from September 2026 onward. This will be their sixth hotel in Florida and third in four years. The hotel features 210 rooms, 2,500 sq ft of meeting space, and amenities like free breakfast, Wi-Fi, and an outdoor pool. Part of Drury’s expansion in Florida, it will employ 65 staff. The Meetings with More program caters up to 300 attendees.

🏨 IHG Hotels & Resorts signed Hotel Schloss Reinhartshausen, Vignette Collection in Germany, its third in the country after Bristol Berlin and Alte Post. Located in Eltville-Erbach, 35km from Frankfurt Airport, it offers 53 rooms, nine meeting rooms totaling 380sqm, and wellness facilities. Since its 2021 launch, Vignette Collection aims for 100 hotels by 2030. Germany hosts 171 IHG hotels with 65 more in development.

🏨 Marriott International partners with HTL Gateway LLC to open AC Hotels by Marriott Ulaanbaatar, marking its Mongolia debut. The hotel, located in the Khan Uul District, opens in 2027. Features include 190 rooms, dining options, a pool, fitness center, and event spaces. Ulaanbaatar saw 800,000 international visitors in 2024. The project supports Mongolia's tourism growth and highlights its business and leisure appeal.

🏗 Construction has begun on a new 11-story hotel tower at Novotel Geelong, Australia. By 2027, the $75-million project by ERDI Group will add 134 rooms, totaling 243, making it Geelong's largest hotel. The development includes a wellness center, a 125-seat restaurant, and 1,200 square meters of event space. Regional awards highlight Novotel's prominence since its 2001 opening. Partners, including Ireland Brown Constructions, emphasize the project's role in bolstering Geelong's tourism and economy.

🏨 Three Hilton Garden Inn hotels in Birmingham, Bristol, and Glasgow underwent major refurbishments, overseen by Valor Hospitality. The Birmingham hotel refreshed 238 rooms with industrial finishes, Bristol redesigned 171 rooms with maritime-inspired decor, and Glasgow reimagined 164 rooms with shipbuilding themes. ABDA Design managed the renovations, focusing on sustainability and reducing waste by retaining and redesigning furniture. These updates aim to enhance guest experiences by incorporating each city's unique industrial heritage.

🏨 BWH Hotels GB has added eight properties to its portfolio, including the Brackenborough Hotel in Lincolnshire and the Ashbourne Hotel in North Lincolnshire, as part of a plan to add 100 properties by 2029 and reach 20,000 rooms in the UK. The Brackenborough Hotel features 19 luxury lodges, while the Ashbourne Hotel offers 36 rooms. BWH, with over 230 independent hotels, combines global brand strength with hotelier autonomy.

🏨 Hilton is set to expand in Manchester, opening two new hotels: a 22-story Hampton by Hilton in early 2024 at Deansgate, and Motto by Hilton in 2027 with 154 rooms at Piccadilly. Hilton currently operates 8,800 properties in 139 countries. Dean Street Developments and Manchester City Council are key partners in this endeavor, which aims to meet the rising demand for quality accommodations in a flourishing travel hub.

🏗️ UAE: In early 2028, CG Developers, part of CG Corp Global, will complete the first JW Marriott Residences in Dubai. The project, located on Dubai Islands, will include 115 ocean-view residences, a rooftop pool, spa, fitness centre, and concierge services. Rahul Chaudhary emphasized the alignment with Dubai's vision. Marriott and CG Global collaboration will also convert The Farm at San Benito in the Philippines and introduce Marriott's new brand, Series by Marriott.

🛫 Regent Hotels & Resorts, part of IHG, plans to expand internationally through 2026. The brand will open its first spa at Regent Bali Canggu in October 2025. Recent openings include Carlton Cannes and Regent Hong Kong in 2023, and Regent Shanghai on the Bund in 2025. Future sites in Jeddah and Kuala Lumpur are expected in 2026, with additional projects in Kyoto, Shenzhen, and Chengdu. Regent operates 11 hotels and resorts globally.
