🏨 Scandic Hotels Group is expanding in Norway with the conversion of Scandic Grensen into the first Scandic Go hotel in downtown Oslo. Located near key cultural sites, the hotel will align with the Scandic Go model and obtain the Nordic Swan Ecolabel certification. Further expansions include Scandic Victoria Florø opening in December 2025, a 305-room hotel in Tromsø, a 138-room Scandic Go in Turku, Finland, and a 236-room property in Uppsala, Sweden, enhancing Scandic's Nordic footprint.

📄 Fairmont Hotels & Resorts announced renovations at global properties. Fairmont Hotel Macdonald completed updates by 2024. Fairmont Le Montreux Palace finished renovations in April 2025 for 120 rooms. In June 2025, Fairmont Orchid completed a multimillion-dollar renovation for 540 rooms. Hamilton Princess in Bermuda unveiled its renovated wing in May 2025, marking 140 years. Fairmont Southampton will complete its $550 million revamp by summer 2026. The Fairmont Grand Hotel Geneva's transformation will debut in 2026.

🏨 Radisson Blu Glasgow completed a £15m refurbishment project launched in 2023. The hotel revamped 247 rooms, added a new entrance, and modernized lifts. In the final phase, 12 meeting spaces were upgraded, offering 1,611 sqm for events. The ballroom hosts 550 for dinners and 800 for conferences. Located on Argyle Street, near Glasgow Central Station, the site now features enhanced catering, including two pantry spaces. The Grahamston restaurant offers contemporary Scottish dining.

📍 Hilton opened Hampton by Hilton St. Thomas, a 126-room hotel, in the U.S. Virgin Islands, marking the brand's first Hampton in the region. The hotel features amenities like a 3,800 sq. ft. patio, 2,000 sq. ft. pool deck, and a public bar. Located 1.5 miles from Charlotte Amalie, it's ideal for business and leisure travelers. The property is part of Hilton's Caribbean expansion, where it operates about 50 hotels. Hilton plans 140 more projects in the region.

🏨 Starlite Yellowstone, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, opened in downtown West Yellowstone, near Yellowstone National Park's west entrance. Developed by East Avenue Development LLC, the 133-room hotel features a design inspired by the local landscape. Located at 301 Madison Avenue, it offers access to nearby attractions like the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center. Amenities include an indoor pool with a 100-foot water slide, a family game room, and the HB on Madison restaurant serving seasonal dishes.

🏨 The Barn At Berryfields has opened The Barn Hotel near Birmingham Airport in Warwickshire, featuring 33 bedrooms and creating 10 jobs. This venture, led by Tom, Joe, and Will Barber, incorporates solar panels and energy-saving systems. The family business began a farm shop in 2008 and has since expanded its offerings to include a restaurant, bar, pizzeria, and event spaces. The hotel's opening coincides with increased regional tourism and record-breaking passenger numbers at Birmingham Airport.

🍴 The Hoxton, Shoreditch will debut London’s first Il Bambini Club in September, marking its UK introduction. Located in The Hoxton's former Grill space, the Italian dining experience is managed by RIKAS Group and Paris Society. The venue will offer classic Italian dishes and 1960s Rome-inspired cocktails, with interiors by Virginie Friedmann and Delphine Versace. The Hoxton, established in 2006, now has 17 locations globally, with recent expansions in Florence and Edinburgh.

🏨 Hilton Park Lane, Mayfair London completed a major refurbishment of its top-floor suites, totaling 56 redesigned units. The Park Lane suite offers panoramic Hyde Park views and entertainment options. Design themes on the 26th and 27th floors reflect 1960s King’s Road and Hyde Park. The hotel features the Park Corner Brasserie and Revery Bar, and event spaces accommodate up to 1,350 guests. Suites include premium amenities and access to the Executive Lounge with complimentary breakfast.

🏨 Loews Hotels & Co opened the Universal Helios Grand Hotel on April 16 in Universal Epic Universe, Orlando. This 500-room hotel is part of three new hotels launched within 100 days, totaling 11 properties and 11,000 rooms. The hotel features Mediterranean design, a statue of Apollo, and celestial themes. Dining options include Flora Taverna and Lotus Lagoon. Offering 4,648 sq ft of meeting space, it caters to small to mid-sized groups.

🍴 Dear Olivia Bar & Kitchen opened in Parkland, near Boca Raton, Florida. Led by Eddie and Christina Pozzuoli, and Paul Greenberg, it seats 82 inside, with an additional 36 seats at the indoor/outdoor bar. The deck, overlooking a lagoon, accommodates 90 patrons. Named after Greenberg's daughter, the venue offers diverse menu options and is not a traditional sports bar. The beverage program is by Jose Gill. Designed with soft tones, it replaces the former Déjà Blue space.
