🏨 Pacifica Hotels G.K., through Karasuma Hospitality G.K., will open Garner Hotel Kyoto Shijo Karasuma, Kyoto's first Garner hotel, in November 2025. This 103-room hotel, the fourth Garner in Japan, involves rebranding and refurbishment with Kyoto design. Located in Shijo Karasuma near Nishiki Market and other attractions, it caters to both international and Japanese travelers seeking midscale accommodations. Amenities include a lobby with complimentary beverages and a ground-floor café.

🏨 In 2024, the Fattal Hotel Group acquired the AC Forum Hotel in Barcelona for €80 million, rebranding it as the Leonardo Royal Hotel Barcelona Forum. Located near the Barcelona International Convention Centre, it targets MICE and business travelers, boasting 19 meeting rooms over 2,760 m² accommodating up to 670 attendees. Additional amenities include an outdoor pool, gym, and Mediterranean restaurant. This expansion reinforces Leonardo Hotels' strategy in Southern Europe, including openings in Spain and Italy.

📍 SV Hotel is expanding its portfolio by partnering with Hyatt, opening Me and All Hotel Berlin East Side, featuring 60 parking spaces. The hotel offers modern amenities, aiming to be a vibrant urban meeting space. Hyatt plans further expansion with Me and All Hotels across Europe. Another collaboration, Hyatt Centric Altstadt Hamburg, is set for late 2026. The brand also extends beyond Germany with the upcoming Me and All Hotel Flims in Switzerland, part of Hyatt's Lifestyle portfolio.

🏨 Strategically located in Hannover Medical Park, Leonardo Hannover Medical Park will feature 208 rooms—112 from Mercure reopening in July 2025, and 96 from ibis reopening in Q4 2025. Amenities include restaurants, bars, and conference facilities with seven meeting rooms for up to 140 attendees. Leonardo Hotels expands its German presence with the new Mainz hotel opening in August 2025 and the Badischer Hof Baden-Baden addition on May 1st, enhancing its MICE market influence.

🏨 Marriott International and Truman plan to open three hotels in Calgary's Culture and Entertainment District: W Calgary, JW Marriott Calgary, and an Autograph Collection Hotel. Set to open in 2028, 2029, and 2030, these developments will include over 700 hotel rooms and nearly 360 branded residences, supported by a $1.47 billion private investment. Construction will generate over 9,100 jobs, with more than 2,000 ongoing roles post-completion. The W Calgary and JW Marriott Calgary will be among Western Canada's tallest residential towers.

🏨 Canopy by Hilton opened a 181-room hotel in Nashville's The Gulch, featuring 27 suites with terraces and a two-story presidential suite with a private rooftop. Guests enjoy downtown transport via a Rivian car and fitness access. Dining includes a Five Points Pizza slice window, 8th & Roast coffee bar, and Silo restaurant by chef David Henriquez. COA, a Mexican eatery with agave spirits and three terraces, opens later this year.

🏖️ Dreamscape Hospitality has taken over management of Cougar Ridge Resort in Torrey, Utah, near Capitol Reef National Park, as of July 2025. The resort features guestrooms, suites, and newly added two-bedroom villas. Future expansions include a restaurant and new amenities. Dreamscape aims to enhance guest experiences with scalable solutions and strategic support. Gary Bagley, the resort's owner, emphasizes maintaining the unique atmosphere of southern Utah while expanding offerings.

🏨 Hyatt Hotels Corporation plans to expand its luxury and lifestyle brands in the Asia Pacific with nearly 90 new properties by 2026. Key openings include the Thompson Shanghai Expo in Q4 2025, Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur in August 2025, and Park Hyatt Phu Quoc in Q1 2026. The expansion includes debuts for brands like Andaz in Australia and Thailand, and The Standard in Pattaya. By Q1 2025, 64% of Hyatt’s Asia Pacific hotels are luxury and upper-upscale.

🏖 Limelight Charleston is set to open in 2028 in the historic district of Charleston, South Carolina, featuring a 50-room hotel and 16 private residences. This will be Limelight's first East Coast location and its seventh overall. The property, developed with Category Company, includes a restaurant, bar, rooftop pool, meeting spaces, and a parking garage. Limelight Boulder and Limelight Mammoth are also slated to open this year in Colorado and California, respectively.

🏨 Stonebridge has added The MC Hotel, Autograph Collection, an eight-story, 159-room hotel in Montclair, New Jersey, to its portfolio. Stout NYC Hospitality Group is now managing the hotel's food and beverage services, marking its expansion into New Jersey. The hotel features over 8,000 square feet of meeting space and a rooftop lounge with Manhattan skyline views. Stout NYC plans renovations and a new coastal Mediterranean concept. Chef Dan Drohan will lead revamped menu offerings.
