🏨 Premier Inn is set to open a 157-bedroom hotel at Sandyford Business Park, Dublin, following Whitbread's December 2023 acquisition of the site. Construction will start in early 2026 after the Wall Climbing Gym relocates. Since opening its first Dublin hotel in November 2021, Premier Inn now has five locations and opened its first site outside Dublin in Cork in 2024. Whitbread's Irish expansion targets 5,000 rooms, a 30% increase from previous goals.

📍 Hilton continues its expansion in the luxury hotel sector with the new 237-room Derby London City Hotel, opening in early 2026. Located on Great Tower Street, the hotel partners with Dominus and is part of Hilton's Curio Collection. Features include 10 suites, Rycrofte’s restaurant, a 24-hour gym, and meeting rooms. This development supports the City of London's "Destination City" strategy. Hilton also plans to open Hampton by Hilton at London Heathrow and Motto by Hilton in Glasgow by autumn 2024.

🏨 ME by Meliá unveils ME Marbella after a 20-million-euro renovation featuring 200 rooms and 24 suites, designed by Adriana and Álvaro Sans. Located in Marbella, the hotel integrates nature and luxury through Mediterranean architecture. It offers three unique dining venues and the inland beach club, Oasis. ME by Meliá expands in Southern Europe, with developments in Malta and Palma, including a 10-million-euro renovation in the Gran Meliá Victoria, enhancing their Mediterranean market presence.

🏨 Adagio Original Stuttgart NeckarPark, located in Stuttgart's event hub, offers 121 “Smart House” concept apartments. Services include free Wi-Fi, breakfast, fitness room, and parking. Decor reflects local winegrowing heritage. Adagio marks its 12th location in Germany, highlighting its European growth strategy. Arthur Jaeger emphasizes the expansion vision, with plans to remain a leader in the aparthotel market, supported by the FIRST 2030 strategic plan.

🏨 W Florence opened in 2025 at Piazza dell'Unità Italiana, offering 119 rooms, including 16 suites and a penthouse, with LEED Gold and WELL Silver certifications. Design by Genius Loci Architettura. Dining includes Tratto, and Zefiro Rooftop opening in 2025. The hotel features a 24/7 gym, W Lounge, and event spaces. Marriott's Mediterranean expansion includes W Algarve in 2022 and future openings like W Sardinia in August 2025.

📍 NUMA Group acquired Native Places last year and announced a new property at 17 Jubilee Street, Brighton, UK, opening this summer. The former MyBrighton Hotel will feature 84 units and 172 beds. NUMA's expansion includes a modern tech stack, enhancing their digital guest experience. Already active in 15 countries and 36 cities, with nearly 9,000 units, NUMA plans to expand further in the UK, targeting cities like Manchester, Bristol, and Edinburgh.

🍴 Denver restaurateur Ciaran O’Brien opens Rose & Thorn at The Penrose in RiNo. July 12 sees the 16th-story rooftop Rose launch with a lounge, pool, bottle service, and city views. It's 4,000 sq ft, accessed by a dedicated elevator. The underground Thorn, a speakeasy, opens later. Alan Garcia leads both bars, offering spirit-forward drinks and rosé. O’Brien also develops a 10,000 sq ft food hall, Agora, in Applewood.

🏨 Fairmont Hotels & Resorts debuted in Japan with the opening of Fairmont Tokyo on July 1, 2025, located in the Blue Front Shibaura Tower South, from floors 35 to 43. The hotel, 13 minutes from Haneda Airport, offers 217 rooms, including 29 suites. It features seven dining venues, a 20-meter indoor infinity pool, and a Fairmont Spa on the 35th floor. Designed by BAR Studio, it combines Tokyo's tradition and modernity, catering to both global travelers and the local community.
