🌴 The Grand, York, unveils SubRosa spa after a £2.8 million refurbishment of its basement vaults. The spa introduces SeaBody’s marine-based products and offers Moroccan-inspired marocMaroc rituals. Facilities include two saunas, a hydrotherapy pool, and various therapy rooms. Three treatment packages are offered: Rosa, Alba, and Radix. Alongside, a new SubRosa restaurant features Asian cuisine. Spa director Emma Sorby and general manager Adam Dyke highlight the wellness and culinary experiences. SubRosa is open to both guests and day visitors.

🍴 Róbert LeBlanc and the LeBlanc + Smith team open The Chloe Nashville in Hillsboro Village the week of January 5th. This Tennessee debut includes 19 rooms, a restaurant, three bars, and a pool. Set in 1920s cottages, the hotel pays homage to Nashville's history while showcasing local cuisine and Tennessee whiskey. Chef Matt Regan leads the restaurant, with bar director Jason Sorbet crafting cocktails. Expect community events such as Artists in Residence and Songwriter Series.

🌴 Angsana Velavaru, in the South Nilandhe Atoll, Maldives, offers a holistic wellness journey led by Wellbeing Director Artemasius Harefa. The resort features Angsana Spa, emphasizing Asian wellness with natural ingredients like coconut and honey. Activities include aqua aerobics, sunrise yoga, and guided meditation. These experiences align with Banyan Group's Eight Pillars of Wellbeing, focusing on rest, movement, mindfulness, and connection, aiming to inspire balance and a mindful lifestyle.

🏠 Opening in Spring 2026, Des Gunewardena will launch three venues at the £1.3bn Olympia redevelopment. Located in the 30,000 sq ft Pillar Hall, the investment exceeds £10m. Idalia will seat 300, Pepperbird offers a 70-cover bar, and Upstairs at Pillar Hall hosts over 500. Executive Chef Samantha Williams leads the all-female kitchen team. Designed by Robert Angell, the venue blends historic architecture with modern design, celebrating Olympia's cultural heritage in West London.

📍 IHG Hotels & Resorts, on Dec. 23, 2025, signed an agreement with Club Chaulani Ltd. for the 115-key Holiday Inn Dhangadhi in Nepal’s Sudurpashchim Province. Scheduled to open in Q1 2028, it will be located 8.5 km from Dhangadhi Airport. The hotel will serve business and leisure travelers with 115 rooms, four dining outlets, and various amenities. Positioned near the India-Nepal border, it supports IHG's South Asia expansion strategy.

🏨 Retreat Hotels & Resorts opened a dual-branded Fairfield by Marriott/TownePlace Suites hotel on the Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter in Perry, GA. The 129-key property features 66 TownePlace Suites and 63 Fairfield keys, plus amenities like a large pool and spa. It is the first Marriott in Perry and the only one within a 15-mile radius. Located 100 miles south of Atlanta, the Fairgrounds draw more than one million visitors annually.

🏨 Hotel Crillon le Brave will reopen in April 2026 near Mont Ventoux after a refurbishment. The updates include 10 new guest rooms, expanded wellness facilities, and year-round activities in Maison Tilleul. The Spa des Écuries adds a hammam, sauna, jacuzzi, and cold baths, with new products from SeeMyCosmetics. A second heated pool is introduced as adults-only. The owners aim to broaden guest offerings while maintaining the site’s architectural integrity.
