Treloyhan Manor Launches Uk’s Oldest Whisky Flight

🍷 House of Hazelwood offers a 254-year whisky flight at Cornwall's Treloyhan Manor on July 19, 2025. Featuring six whiskies aged 33-53 years, including The Cask Trials (53-year-old) and The Garden at Hazelwood (47-year-old), only 36 tickets are available for £500 each, or £250 for hotel guests. Jonathan Gibson highlights its historical significance. Whiskies have limited bottles worldwide, such as The Cask Trials with 303 bottles at 49.2% ABV.

Wyndham inks new deal to strengthen Southern Asia presence

📍 Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and Cygnett Hotels & Resorts have formed a 10-year alliance to expand in South Asia, aiming to add over 60 hotels in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal by 2026. The agreement will introduce La Quinta by Wyndham and Registry Collection Hotels. Wyndham currently operates over 70 hotels in the region. The deal includes 50 La Quinta hotels and 10 co-branded Registry Collection properties under Cygnett's Anamore brand, targeting rising tourism and middle-class growth.

Dusit adds ninth brand with upper-upscale concept

🏨 Dusit International, in July 2025, launches Dusit Hotels, its ninth brand, targeting 120 to 300 key hotels in prime city and resort locations. Initial launches include Dusit Hotel Doha, Qatar; Dusit Le Palais Tu Hoa, Hanoi, Vietnam; Dusit Hotel AG Park, Chengdu, China, with Dusit Hotel Greenhills, Manila opening in 2026. Dusit Hotel Doha offers 261 guestrooms and 96 apartments. The chain plans to add eight hotels in the next two years, expanding its 294-property portfolio across 18 countries.

Coury Hospitality expands with Florida and Virginia additions

Plunge Beach Resort offers 5,900 sq ft of event space, while Residence Inn features a lobby bar and fitness center. Former Cambria converted to Hyatt House Washington DC Downtown

🏨 The former Cambria Hotel Washington D.C. Convention Center reopens as Hyatt House Washington DC Downtown Convention Center. This 184-room hotel at 899 O Street NW, near the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, is developed by Frontier Development & Hospitality Group with Basis Investment Group and operated by Donohoe Hospitality. A 157-seat rooftop bar with 360-degree views will open in the fall. The hotel is part of the World of Hyatt loyalty program.

Dorint Hotels announces its return to Vienna with the opening of Dorint Hotel Weitblick
