Hilton Strengthens Footprint in the ‘City of Pearls’ With the Second Hilton Hotels & Resorts Signing in Hyderabad

🏨 Hilton to open a new hotel in Hyderabad's Gachibowli district by January 2029. Partnering with Shree Venkateshwara Hotels, the hotel will feature 304 rooms, approximately 62,000 square feet of event space, and one of the city's largest convention centers. Hyderabad's GDP is approximately $94 billion, with over 110 million square feet of Grade A office space. Hilton plans to expand to 300 hotels in South Asia over the next decade, aiming to double its presence in India.

Omakase Room expands to Washington, D.C., with chef Tadayoshi Motoa at the helm

🍴 New York City's the Group Hospitality expanded to Washington, D.C., with the Omakase Room by Tadayoshi on September 27. This is their third D.C. restaurant and fourth Omakase location overall. Chef Tadayoshi Motoa, known for Michelin-starred Restaurant Toki in Madrid, oversees a 20-course menu with a $200 prix fixe. The minimalist 12-seat space at 14th and G Street N.W. offers 6:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. seatings.

Delano Prepares To Debut in Miami, New York, and London

📍 Ennismore partners with Cain for Delano brand revival, introducing Delano SoHo New York, Delano London, and reopening Delano Miami Beach in 2026. Delano Miami Beach will feature 171 guestrooms and suites, including new restaurant and bar concepts. Delano SoHo, in Hudson Square, will house 390 guestrooms in a 46-story tower with expansive event spaces. Delano London, opening late 2026, near Kensington Gardens will have 67 guestrooms, embracing organic forms and contemporary design.

Modern Omakase Experience Koju Opens in Brooklyn

The 14-seat omakase bar, designed with Studio Tre, features a unique blend of vintage and modern aesthetics. An immersive music program with over 120 vinyl records from 1935-1990 enhances the dining experience with an Audio Technica vinyl player.

A new address in the making for Ennismore in the Spanish capital

🏨 Hoxton Madrid will open in a modernist building in central Madrid, near the Prado and other cultural sites. It features 192 rooms and suites, with a design merging local influences and Hoxton aesthetics. Petra AM leads refurbishment, assisted by Urban Input Group. Spaces include a multi-purpose lobby, Cayo Coco rooftop, and Il Bambini Club trattoria. Ennismore, eyeing an IPO, expands in Europe with new openings planned in Oslo, Kraków, and Hamburg.

Andaz Hiroshima to debut in 2027

🏨 Hyatt Hotels Corp. plans to open Andaz Hiroshima in 2027, marking the first Hyatt hotel in western Japan's Chūgoku region. Located in central Hiroshima, the hotel will occupy the 21st to 31st floors of a new high-rise, featuring 235 rooms and suites. The site, once connecting Hiroshima Castle with its town, offers cultural significance. Hiroshima, home to UNESCO sites and a vibrant artistic community, is accessible via Shinkansen and Hiroshima Airport. Andaz Hiroshima will be the second Andaz property in Japan.

IHG taking over management of Adelaide’s Mayfair Hotel and transitioning it to a Kimpton

📌 Adelaide’s Mayfair Hotel will transition to IHG Hotels & Resorts management in mid-December 2025 as part of a partnership with Ark Capital. Built in 1934 and converted in 2015, the 170-room hotel will rebrand as Kimpton Mayfair Adelaide in 2026 after refurbishment. IHG's Kimpton brand entered Australia in 2022 with Kimpton Margot Sydney, and Kimpton Teneriffe is planned for 2031. The hotel will remain open during renovations, which will continue through 2026.

🏨 AC Hotel Savannah Historic District opened in Spring 2025 in Savannah, Ga., on the former site of the Savannah Electric Power Company. The hotel achieved LEED Platinum certification, the highest from the U.S. Green Building Council, after a decade of construction beginning in 2015. It features 170 guestrooms, workspaces, and a fitness area, with sustainable designs like rooftop solar panels. The hotel’s Lavender Rooftop Kitchen & Bar offers Mediterranean-inspired cuisine with views of Savannah River.
