🍖 Cattlemen’s Steakhouse, founded in 1947 in Fort Worth's Stockyards, is undergoing renovations under new owner Taylor Sheridan. The updates include over 20,000 square feet of outdoor patio space and a 130-seat, members-only Cattlemen’s Club. Sheridan, owner of Four Sixes Ranch, is keeping the steakhouse open and compensating customers with free dinners during construction. The renovation, expected to finish by summer's end, aims to maintain the core menu and guest experience while introducing new features and exclusive memberships.

🏠 Villa Beatrice, Portofino, built in 1913 by Gino Coppedè, reopens after restoration by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio under Belmond management. It features 5 luxurious suites with butler, chef, and yoga instructor services. Eco-friendly renovation used local materials. Offers stunning Gulf of Tigullio views, direct Mediterranean access, and activities like cruises and stargazing. Strengthens Belmond's Italian presence alongside properties in Splendido and Lake Como, acquired 2023.

🏠 Thalazur Arcachon offers a home-like atmosphere with holiday comforts. Located near Arcachon Bay, it features a heated seawater pool, a fitness room, and an indoor-outdoor lounge bar. The venue includes 90 indoor parking spaces. Guests can enjoy themed evenings, boat, canoe, bike rides, and oyster tastings in summer. Managed by Hively Hospitality, it is a perfect base for exploring Arcachon Bay and the Dune of Pilat, focusing on nature, relaxation, and regional culture.

🏨 Amancio Ortega's investment firm, Pontegadea, is set to renovate the historic Hotel Banke in Paris, near the Opéra Garnier, transforming it into a Radisson Collection property by 2027. This aligns with Ortega’s strategy to invest in prime European locations like London and Barcelona. Meanwhile, Radisson Hotel Group expands in France with new hotels in Montpellier, Reims, and Paris, including a 144-room Radisson Blu in Montpellier. Radisson Hotel Group currently offers 97 job opportunities.

🏨 London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square celebrates its 40th anniversary on 12 June 2025 with a major renovation. The hotel in Mayfair redesigns its lobby, M Club Lounge, and 11 event spaces. The new Luggage Room Lounge offers all-day dining, while the Mayfair Suites host up to 170 guests. The Westminster Ballroom accommodates up to 900. General Manager Alok Dixit highlights these updates as a blend of tradition and modernity for guests and the Mayfair community.

📍 2026-2027, Madrid: Grupo JRU, in collaboration with Lexxa Hotels and DICSA, will convert a 90-room property into a modern hotel, opening in 2027. Situated 30 minutes from Madrid's center, it offers convenient access to Madrid Airport and Atocha and Chamartín stations. Part of Travelodge’s expansion in Spain, this plan includes 20 identified locations and recent openings adding 635 rooms. Travelodge's growth taps into rising demand, leveraging various development models to enhance its competitive position.

🏨 YOTELPAD Athens is being developed by Valpre Capital to tap into the extended-stay market, featuring apartment-style living and hotel amenities like gyms and terraces. Athens' growing appeal, record international arrivals, and government rental policies bolster this initiative. Part of YOTEL's global strategy, it follows successful launches like YOTELPAD London Stratford and YOTEL Geneva Lake. The project aims at short and long-term guests, leveraging YOTEL's tech-driven, design-focused approach.

🏨 Neil Jacobs expanded Six Senses from eight to 26 properties under his leadership, with over 30 more in the pipeline. In 2019, IHG Hotels acquired Six Senses for $300 million, boosting its global presence. Jacobs integrated sustainability, pioneered wellness clubs, and will soon open Six Senses Place in London. He recently launched Wild Origins, focusing on sustainable projects, and joined Capella Hotels as a Senior Strategic Advisor. Six Senses currently boasts 27 locations with 38 in development.
