🏠 Société des Bains de Mer (S.B.M) reported record revenue of €768 million for the 2024–2025 fiscal year ending March 31, 2025, a 9% increase. Hotel division revenue rose by 16% to nearly €400 million. Food and beverage activities grew by 24%, while the rental sector saw an 11% increase to nearly €150 million. Despite more visitors, gaming revenue declined by 3%. The group’s net income exceeded €110 million, with operating income reaching €74.5 million.

🌴 Hyatt Hotels Corporation opened the 397-room AluaSoul Sunny Beach in Sunny Beach, Bulgaria, part of its Inclusive Collection. Located between Flower Street and the Sunny Beach Promenade, it offers direct access to shops and nightlife. The hotel features two outdoor pools, a fitness center, spa, and six restaurants/bars. Guests can also enjoy the My Favorite Club with upgraded rooms and benefits like early check-in. It’s near Blue Flag beaches and the UNESCO town of Nessebar.

🌴 Zélia Halkidiki, an adults-only luxury resort, opens under Hyatt's brand in Kassandra Peninsula, Greece. Located 50 minutes from Thessaloniki Airport, it offers 104 guestrooms and 18 suites. Culinary highlights include Mediterranean, Japanese-Peruvian, and farm-to-table dining with two bars. The resort features the Zélia Amazonia Spa, fitness facilities, and beach access. Guests can enjoy hiking, e-bike tours, and kayaking. A new Hyatt Destination hotel is set to open in Paros in 2026.

🏛 Blenheim Palace's Orangery, a historic 18th-century structure, underwent a £2 million restoration, reopening in October 2023. On May 21, 2025, it won a prestigious RIBA South Architecture Award at the Bombay Sapphire Distillery in Hampshire. The project, led by Nick Cox Architects and Historic England, involved replacing the glass ceiling with timber and slate. The Orangery was one of six winners, including Eton College Hall and Hope Street, Southampton.

🏨 Marriott International has launched two new properties in the Herdade dos Salgados, Algarve, Portugal. The Algarve Marriott Salgados Golf Resort & Conference Centre offers 228 rooms, four pools, four dining venues, and a 1,596-seat auditorium. The Marriott Residences Salgados Resort includes 192 units with full kitchens, 10 outdoor pools, and sports amenities. Both locations feature extensive conference facilities across 9,000 square meters. Marriott plans further expansion with JW Marriott Algarve Palmares Hotel & Spa in Lagos by 2028.

This strategic expansion, announced in 2025, enhances Sage’s presence in California and Florida. Hotel La Jolla underwent a multimillion-dollar renovation in 2024. 🏨 Hilton plans to open the Elephant Tree Resort and Villas Tobago by 2028, marking the Tapestry Collection's debut in Roxborough, Tobago. The 21-acre beachfront site will feature 40 guestrooms and 126 branded residences. Amenities will include three pools, a spa, a fitness center, and 400 square feet of meeting space. Located near ANR Robinson International Airport, the resort will provide easy access to Argyle Falls and Speyside. Hilton aims to nearly double its Caribbean portfolio, with three additional projects in Trinidad and Tobago.
