🏨 Premier Inn Germany plans to open a new hotel in Munich's Werksviertel district by 2028, its seventh in the city. Located on the iCampus near the Ostbahnhof, the hotel will offer about 190 rooms, 50 underground parking spaces, and span approximately 6,850 square meters. The i10 building is the final plot on the iCampus and is part of a larger urban development. Premier Inn has 61 hotels in Germany and Vienna, with another 39 in development, aiming to strengthen its position in the value-driven hotel segment.

🎭 Haii Keii, a restaurant in Houston's River Oaks/Upper Kirby neighborhood, opened on February 18 offering a 3,000 square foot indoor space with an additional 1,000 square feet of outdoor patio seating. The design by Gin Braverman and Gin Design Group channels "Blade Runner" and "Kill Bill". Executive chef Jeffrey Taylor and sushi chef Jose Espinoza crafted a menu with cold plates, hot plates, vegetables, fried rice, nigiri, maki, and steaks. Managing partner Jarred Tosto emphasizes Haii Keii as an immersive, vibrant dining experience.

🏡 Treehouse Hotel Manchester, second U.K. location of Starwood Hotels’ brand, recently opened at Blackfriars Street and Deansgate with 200 guestrooms. The design features an indoor-outdoor tree and reclaimed materials. Barry Sternlicht emphasizes a "carefreedom" vibe. The hotel includes dining options like Pip by Mary-Ellen McTague and will open The Nest in Treehouse and Sister Moon in 2025, with event spaces for up to 400 people. It focuses on sustainability, aiming for BREEAM and Green Key certifications, and offers amenities such as a rooftop apiary, gym, and communal spaces.

🏠 Big Mamma Group has expanded into Barcelona with Gloria Osteria in the Eixample neighborhood, leveraging its European presence after openings in Monaco, Hamburg, and London. The Milan-inspired venue features 1970s design with Murano chandeliers and Jacopo Foggini's sculptural lighting. The two-floor restaurant with terrace offers Italian cuisine by executive chef Daniele Tasso, using ingredients from over 170 artisans, including seasonal truffle and aged Parmigiano Reggiano DOP. Reservations are now open.

🏢 Shiko Group, launched in April 2024, boasts eight venues in Manchester and Leeds including Side Street, Courts Club, The Lawn Club, The Dome, The Stables, Foley’s, Fearns, and The Canary. Side Street accommodates 360 guests; Courts Club has a capacity of 450 and features a court; The Lawn Club seats 440 patrons; The Dome is a unique rooftop space; The Stables is ideal for various events; Foley’s offers specialty coffee; The Canary and Fearns both provide waterside views in Leeds, with Fearns able to host 500 people.

🌮 From 16 April to mid-October 2025, Hilton Lake Como will host 'Streetfood', featuring an Italian market in Taffeta garden. Executive Chef Stefano Ghielmetti introduces a 'Nonna menu' with traditional dishes. Guests can buy local produce, including olive oil, Terazza 241 gin, and Streetfood pasta. The market, offering live cooking stations, an Aperol Spritz cart, a Piaggio Ape Pizza cart, and a Gelato cart, is open 6pm-midnight, Friday-Tuesday, and daily in June-August. Rooms start at €350/night.

🏦 The Vanguard Hotel by Marriott International's Autograph Collection opened in Ann Arbor, Mich., targeting university visitors, alumni, and business travelers. It features 188 rooms, including 24 one-bedroom suites and 10 dual-king-bed suites, some with private patios. Guests enjoy Dyson hairdryers, Le Labo products, and espresso machines. La Serre, the onsite French-inspired brasserie, offers a wine list and a raw bar. The hotel boasts 11,062 square feet of event space and is part of the 330+ property Marriott Bonvoy Autograph Collection.

🏦 UK's vacant Atlas House on King Street, Cheapside, London, first built in 1836, will be redeveloped into a luxury boutique hotel by Blue Orchid Hospitality. Owned by Integrity International Group and led by Tony Matharu, the Grade II-listed building will feature 104 guest rooms, a restaurant, cocktail bar, health club, spa, swimming pool, gym, and flexible public workspaces. Aiming for a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating and Biodiversity Net Gain, the redevelopment focuses on restoration to preserve the site's character. The hotel adds to Blue Orchid’s London portfolio, including Tower Suites and 55 Broadway.
