🏨 Lark debuted Shore Haven in Falmouth, Massachusetts, this week. The 21-room hotel, located across Surf Drive Beach, is in a historic 1800s property. Guests can enjoy a heated saltwater pool, picnic areas, and a location close to Falmouth's attractions like Main Street and Nobska Lighthouse. Rooms range from double queens to two-bedroom suites, equipped with modern amenities. Shore Haven offers small plates breakfast, complimentary coffee, tea, and sleep kits.

🏖 Banyan Group has launched the 130-room Banyan Tree Mount Emei resort, near Mount Emei, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in China, expanding its flagship brand. The resort features six accommodation categories, including a 320m² Presidential Villa. Dining options include Jiayao Chinese Restaurant and Mingyue All-Day Dining. Located five minutes from Emeishan High-Speed Railway Station and two hours from Chengdu airports, the resort offers over 1,200m² of event space.

📊 Accor's H1 2026 results showed a 2.2% RevPAR increase, excluding the Middle East. They opened 109 hotels with 14,000 rooms, marking 3.2% growth. Total revenue was $3.18 billion, with net profit at $131.4 million, a 51% drop from 2025 due to high non-recurring expenses. In the Americas, RevPAR rose 4.8%. The Middle East conflict caused a 1.1% RevPAR decline in that region. Accor aims for 2-2.5% RevPAR growth for 2026.

🎸 Hard Rock Hotels plans a major transformation of its properties in Cancun and Vallarta, Mexico. Both hotels will close this summer for a five-month renovation, reopening in December 2026. The project includes modern design upgrades and enhanced guest experiences. Bookings are now open for the winter 2026/2027 season. Meanwhile, other Hard Rock locations in Los Cabos, Riviera Maya, and Punta Cana remain operational.

🍴 Vicky Lau, renowned chef and restaurateur, is opening a new restaurant in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong, on 4 August 2026. The 5,500 sq ft space offers seating for 20 guests and dedicates over 60% of its area to behind-the-scenes hospitality. Designed by Chris Shao, the interiors emphasize craftsmanship and custom design. Key features include a Korean charcoal grill, gas wok, and artisan bread proofer. "Ode to Pigeon" is among the debut dishes.

Located at 71 Nile St, London, the venue showcases Appalachian culinary traditions with Thai influences under chef Ali Borer. The menu features dishes like curried crab omelette and smoked pork chop. Driftwood Capital, the borrower, acquired the hotel in June 2023 and completed an $8.5 million renovation by March 2025.
