Leonardo Hotels Central Europe is expanding its portfolio. The group is strengthening its presence in Germany from 1 December 2025 by taking over no fewer than four IntercityHotels in Nuremberg, Freiburg, Magdeburg and Erfurt respectively. These will initially operate under a white label banner whilst comprehensive renovations are being carried out. The plan is for these works to be completed by the second quarter of 2026 prior to a rebranding as Leonardo Hotels.

Hotel Indigo, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts luxury and lifestyle portfolio, officially opens the doors to Hotel Indigo Torquay. Set within the heart of the charming British coastal town in South Devon, the new boutique hotel is a stone’s throw from transport links around the country, as well as local attractions, including Torquay Museum, Kents Cavern, Princess Pier and Torre Abbey Sands. Hotel Indigo Torquay is owned by Singapore-based Fragrance Group and managed by IHG Hotels & Resorts.

Cross Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of Cross Vibe Bangkok Srinakarin, a contemporary lifestyle hotel bringing a fresh, energetic feel to one of Bangkok’s fastest-growing districts near MRT Suan Luang Rama IX Station. Perfectly positioned for both business and leisure travellers, the hotel places guests within easy reach of major shopping malls, leafy parks, local markets and key city connections.

At 25hours Hotel The Trip, large parts of the public areas have been redesigned as part of a six-month process. Particular attention was paid to the lobby and reception area with its adjoining shop, the new Nomad Day Bar and the inner courtyard. The "Library of the Lost Countries" has also been rearranged. Michael Dreher, who originally developed the 152-room hotel under the motto "Around the world in a day", was once again responsible for the design and project management. Together with local tradesmen, the individual areas were gradually adapted during ongoing operations without significantly affecting the well-being of guests or hotel operations.
