🏖 June 25, 2026, Williamsburg, Va.— Newport Hospitality Group is renovating Hampton Inn Jacksonville Beach Oceanfront, enhancing its oceanfront connection. The project involves contemporary coastal design and flexible public areas for leisure and business. Owner Roch Capital's strategic investment aims to elevate the guest experience and strengthen the hotel's market position. Key renovations include flexible public spaces and redesigned bars, like Drift Bar and Kitchen. The goal is to reflect Jacksonville Beach's unique coastal character and foster a welcoming environment.

🏠 One Washington Circle DC, formerly Hotel AKA Washington Circle, joins Hilton's Tapestry Collection. The property, situated in Washington, D.C.'s West End, features 151 rooms, including 51 suites, and 18 with full kitchens. Russ Urban, CEO of Electra America Hospitality Group, emphasizes the Hilton brand's impact on the hotel's iconic status. The hotel offers Ten Ten West End restaurant, a fitness center, private cinema, and is near Georgetown and Dupont Circle.

📍 The Standard, Brussels, joins World of Hyatt, marking a notable expansion of Hyatt Hotels into Belgium. This integration allows 66 million World of Hyatt members to earn and redeem points at nearly all Standard properties. The Standard, Brussels, known for its bold design and vibrant social spaces, offers exclusive member benefits like room upgrades and cultural programming. 📍 IHG Hotels & Resorts expands in Italy with four new hotels, boosting its portfolio to over 50 properties. Set to open in January 2027, the dual-branded Crowne Plaza and Staybridge Suites will debut in Milan’s NoLo district with 167 rooms and 96 suites respectively, offering diverse amenities. Located near Turro metro (500m) and 3 km from Milan Central Station, they enhance IHG’s presence in Italy’s robust tourism market. Additionally, Hotel Indigo is set to launch in Apulia.

🏠 Remise Rosa, a 2,500 sq m timber complex in Zurich, was designed by Hello Wood, a Budapest-based studio. Created on a former railway site, it's home to a restaurant, beer garden, and entertainment spaces. Built from sustainable CLT using CNC prefabrication, it was completed in 5 months. Active in Zurich since 2019, Hello Wood's projects include Urban Surf and Fräulein Holle. CEO András Huszár sees it as a landmark, merging architecture with business goals.

🏨 Blacksand and Marriott International announced a partnership to develop 10 hotels with over 1,300 rooms in Saudi Arabia over four years. The multi-brand deal includes renowned brands like St. Regis and Marriott Hotels, aiming to open properties across multiple cities by 2030, starting in Riyadh. This venture will create more than 6,000 jobs, with 60% for Saudi Nationals. The project supports Saudi Arabia's tourism and urban development goals.

🏝️ Ben and Kelly Navarro, owners of Beemok Hospitality Collection, completed Charleston’s first waterfront resort, the Cooper, after construction challenges. This 191-key luxury resort features an infinity pool, spa, meeting facilities, and dining options. The design by Champalimaud Design features charming guestrooms, a C-shaped building with a spiral staircase, and a nautical-themed restaurant, the Crossing, with a 10,000-square-foot space. Guests enjoy views of the Cooper River and Charleston-inspired decor.
