🏨 Resolute Road Hospitality completed renovations at four hotels owned by Braintree Group: Hampton Inn Bend (Oregon), Courtyard by Marriott Lehi and SpringHill Suites Lehi at Thanksgiving Point (Utah), and Hilton Garden Inn Missoula (Montana). The projects focused on guestrooms, public spaces, and amenities. Matt Kotter emphasized asset competitiveness and growth. Gary Horton highlighted collaboration for improved guest experience and operational performance. The renovations aim to enhance asset value and sustain future growth.

🌴 Kimpton opened Kimpton Quinta da Marinha in Cascais, Portugal, featuring 194 rooms, including eight suites and six signature suites. Located near Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, it's minutes from Cascais and Lisbon. The resort offers an 18-hole golf course, Natur Spa with seven treatment rooms, indoor/outdoor pools, and dining venues like FICA! and Ao Ponto. Pet-friendly, it includes yoga mats in rooms and cultural experiences. Part of IHG Hotels & Resorts’ luxury portfolio.

🏖 Radisson Hotel Group announces the opening of the Radisson Blu Hotel, Sinaia Cota 1400, Romania's first five-star mountain resort at this altitude. Located in a historic 1939 building, the 68-room hotel offers alpine accommodations, a spa, and direct access to ski slopes. The resort features 68 rooms, a 700 sq m spa, and a 122 sq m event space. Dining includes Cocon Restaurant and Tonic Bar. A third dining venue opens later this year.

🏨 In Q2 2026, China's hotel construction pipeline reached 3,588 projects with 632,256 rooms. Under construction were 2,547 projects/442,737 rooms, while 698 projects/131,854 rooms were in early planning. Upper midscale projects rose 7% to 1,287 projects/188,175 rooms, and upscale projects set a record with 1,087 projects/219,168 rooms. Renovations and conversions hit a high with 265 projects/45,733 rooms. Cities like Chengdu, Guangzhou, and Shanghai lead in projects. By year-end 2026, 1,131 hotels/161,665 rooms will open.

🏨 Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has opened Taj Hessischer Hof Frankfurt, its first hotel in continental Europe, in summer 2023. The hotel, closed since 2020, now features 117 guestrooms and nine suites. The Bombay Brasserie seats 60 indoors and 45 outdoors. General Manager Albert Mayr and Hotel Manager Tanika Taneja aim to blend European elegance with Indian hospitality. Executive Chef Nilesh Dangwal and bar manager Emmanuel Saridakis lead the culinary offerings.

🏨 On 29 July 2026, Gisborough Hall launched the Sakura Spa in North Yorkshire, enhancing its wellness offerings. The event featured a speech by Lord Gisborough and a preview of the Koyo Restaurant. The spa includes six treatment rooms, a vitality pool, Finnish and herbal saunas, a salt steam room, and a cold plunge. Koyo Restaurant offers salads, brunch, and wellness drinks. 🛌 Luxury hotel The Landmark London has unveiled its renovated spa after a £4 million upgrade, featuring a thermal suite, vitality pool, and state-of-the-art fitness facilities. Designed by Alex Kravetz Design, the spa offers four treatment rooms, a double suite, and a relaxation zone. In partnership with QMS Medicosmetics, Ashmira Botanica, and Oksia, treatments include family and junior options. Spa manager Hida Shuleta emphasizes creating a wellness destination that appeals both to locals and residents.

🏨 Accor has opened The Queen at Chester Hotel, joining its Handwritten Collection through an agreement with LGH Hotel Management. Located near Chester city center, this 218-room hotel includes the King’s Grill and V&A Lounge. First opened in 1860, it has hosted figures like Charles Dickens. The brand spans 20 countries with over 50 hotels and 50 more in development. Accor's UK spokesperson said this marks their expansion ambition in the market.

🏨 Hilton to expand in Ireland by 2027, adding 150 jobs across eight hotels. A 156-room DoubleTree by Hilton will open in Ashbourne, near Dublin, after refurbishment, while Home2 Suites by Hilton debuted in Dublin City Centre with 290 suites. In Northern Ireland, a 144-room Tempo by Hilton will launch in Belfast City Centre. Cork City Centre will see a 103-room Tapestry Collection by Hilton. Hilton's workforce will reach 1,000 staff in Ireland.

🏚 Ómós guesthouse, located outside Abbeyleix, Ireland, was transformed from a Victorian ruin into a 16-room haven by Ryan W Kennihan Architects. The interior, crafted by Asca Studio and Relief Gallery, fuses tactile materials like Kilkenny limestone, ash, and lime plaster, balancing weight, warmth, and acoustics. There’s also an adjoining restaurant inspired by Irish farmsteads, highlighting consistent internal symbology and material palettes across the spaces.
