🏖 Shangri-La Group plans to open Songtei Kyoto in late 2026 within a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Kyoto, Japan. The 77-room hotel, located on the historic site of Kyoto Shoshidai, will fully unveil in early 2027. Designed with views of Nijo Castle, the property will offer art, wellness, gastronomy, and storytelling experiences. Facilities include a spa, baths, pool, gym, dining lounge, Chinese restaurant, kappo-sushi counter, and evening bar.

🏨 Wyndham Hotels & Resorts launched Dolce Nova, a boutique upper-upscale extension of its Dolce Hotels & Resorts brand, on Monday. This marks the first brand concept originating from Wyndham's EMEA team, notable since the company acquired 20 of its 25 brands. Dimitris Manikis, president for Europe, Middle East, Eurasia, and Africa, highlighted this strategic move at the Annual Hospitality Conference in Manchester. Dolce Hotels, acquired in 2015, typically feature 200-400 rooms, focusing on conferences and events.

🏖️ Canopy Deer Valley, the first Canopy Hotels brand in Utah, opened in Deer Valley East Village with 180 rooms. Located minutes from Deer Valley Resort and 40 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport, it offers access to outdoor activities and features four dining concepts led by Executive Chef Scott Rackliff. Developed by Extell Development Company, the hotel reflects Deer Valley’s natural and historical character with designs by DLR Group | BraytonHughes.

🏨 MIA Hospitality Management began managing Hyatt Place Melbourne Airport and its Runway Rooftop Bar & Grill on July 1, 2026. This 143-room hotel, opened in June 2023, is located at Melbourne Orlando International Airport. MIAHM, with over five years of rooftop hospitality experience, aims to enhance the location's offerings with new cocktails and wine selections, alongside weekly and monthly events, providing a unique experience for both guests and locals.

🏖 JW Marriott Tucson Starr Pass Resort & Spa in Arizona completed a major renovation in September 2026, featuring 524 redesigned guestrooms and 51 suites. The suite count increased by 16. New additions include Family Bunk Bed Suites, 13 Junior Suites, and four Sonoran Starr Suites with extensive terraces. The renovation also encompassed over 115,000 square feet of event space. The design merges Southwest architecture with the Sonoran Desert's natural beauty, fostering a deep connection to Tucson's landscape.

🏨 Coury Hospitality opened Hotel Vin Rogers, Autograph Collection, in Rogers, Arkansas. The 125-room hotel features wine experiences, culinary offerings, and social spaces inspired by the Ozark region. Nearby attractions include 200 miles of trails and the 40-mile Razorback Greenway. The food and beverage program is led by Randy Bloomquist, Garrett Kasper, and Susie Long, featuring Bacchus Kitchen + Bar and Ridge Rooftop Lounge. The hotel offers over 10,000 square feet of event space.

🏨 Marbella’s Sala Group partners with 1912 Hotels to launch its first UK venue, La Sala Sheffield, inside voco Sheffield this autumn. Located near Peace Gardens, it will feature food, drink, and entertainment with live music from Thursday to Sunday. Investors include ex-footballers David Bentley and Michael Brown. The venture aims for a national rollout, creating venues with unique identities to attract locals and hotel guests alike.

🏖 Ennismore and Central Group Capital have announced the signing of the Rixos Water World Phuket, debuting the Rixos brand in Thailand in early 2028. Located in Phuket’s Thalang District, the resort features over 600 guestrooms and villas, a waterpark, and extensive dining options. Ennismore's global all-inclusive network includes over 70 resorts, representing more than 30,000 rooms. Upcoming openings include locations in Vietnam, Mexico, Egypt, and Dubai, reinforcing Ennismore's expansion in the luxury all-inclusive segment.

🏨 The Imperial Bloomsbury hotel in London, designed in 1905 by Charles Fitzroy Doll, features 357 rooms with interiors by Trevillion Interiors and Keane Brands. It combines Edwardian and modernist styles. Arcus, the hotel's bar on the tenth floor, offers panoramic views and a snack-focused menu.
