📍 Hilton plans to debut eight luxury and lifestyle brands in Asia Pacific in 2023, with over 15 openings by 2026. Notable entries include NoMad in Singapore and Signia by Hilton in Tainan, Taiwan. Hilton aims for over 250 hotels in the region, expanding from 170. New launches in Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, and Bengaluru, plus brand introductions in Vietnam and Japan, reflect strong market demand. Canopy by Hilton will open in Bangkok, while Curio Collection and LXR Hotels & Resorts will arrive in Bengaluru, India. Waldorf Astoria and Conrad are set for Malaysia, and Tapestry Collection will enter Vietnam. Hilton signed 350+ Asia Pacific properties in 2025.

🏨 IHG Hotels & Resorts partners with Can Gio Tourist City Corporation to develop four hotels at Vinhomes Green Paradise Can Gio in Ho Chi Minh City, totaling over 1,000 rooms. Properties include InterContinental (400 rooms), Crowne Plaza (400 rooms), Holiday Inn Express (130 rooms), and Garner Hotel (130 rooms). Holiday Inn Express and Garner debut in Vietnam in 2028, with InterContinental and Crowne Plaza opening in 2030. The project is part of a 7,000-room accommodation ecosystem adjacent to the Can Gio Mangrove Biosphere Reserve.

📈 Accor reported first-quarter 2026 revenue of €1,313 million, a 2.3% rise from 2025. Management & Franchise revenue increased by 8.3% to €332 million. RevPAR grew by 5.1%. The group opened 48 hotels with over 6,700 rooms, achieving a net unit growth of 3.8%. The Middle East conflict, starting February 28, impacted UAE results, yet Europe and Southeast Asia saw increased demand. Accor's Luxury & Lifestyle division recorded a 6.0% increase in RevPAR.

🏨 Wyndham Hotels & Resorts marked the opening of its 20th ECHO Suites Extended Stay by Wyndham in Bozeman, Montana, following its 2024 launch. Occupancy rates average over 70%, with some locations exceeding 80%. Over 70% of stays last beyond seven nights. ECHO Suites average 50,000 sq ft with 74% rented space. Wyndham aims for 300 contracts by 2027 and projects a $3.3 billion revenue opportunity linked to federal spending initiatives.

🏨 La Galerie at Hôtel Fouquet’s Paris has been transformed by Friedmann & Versace into a Parisian lounge inspired by the 1920s and ’30s. Artisans such as Ateliers Gohard and Blundell & Therrien contributed to its Art Deco elegance. Intricate marble and onyx flooring, bronze-inlaid columns, and bespoke wood marquetry enhance the space. Ambient lighting merges with custom bronze and alabaster fixtures, highlighting bespoke furniture like mahogany armchairs and velvet sofas.

🏝️ OUTRIGGER Hospitality Group has unveiled a $100 million renovation plan for the OUTRIGGER Waikiki Beach Resort in Honolulu, Hawaii. The project, which involves collaboration with local artists and designers, aims to reimagine the resort as a design-led destination while maintaining operations throughout. Key upgrades include a revamped Voyager 47 Club Lounge, three times its original size. Newly reimagined guestrooms are scheduled for completion by Q3 2026. The redesign celebrates the cultural essence of Waikiki.

🏖 Nikki Beach Hospitality Group will open Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Marrakech in 2028 along Route de l’Ourika. The resort will feature over 100 suites, from 484 to 5,381 sq ft. It will include more than 50 luxury villas, a wellness center, an underground sports complex, and tennis courts. The beach club will feature a large pool with floating platforms, a DJ booth, and retail boutiques. The development aims to offer a comprehensive lifestyle experience.
