🏨 Meininger Hotels enters Scotland with a new site in Edinburgh, opening on 5 August. Located in the West End, it features 157 rooms and 549 beds. The development involved converting Osborne House, a 1970s office building. Managed by Ogilvie Construction and owned by S Harrison, it becomes Meininger's 38th European hotel. The Edinburgh site employs around 20 staff and is part of a broader expansion that includes recent openings in Barcelona, Madrid, Porto, and Tel Aviv.

🏨 IHG Hotels & Resorts plans to introduce the Regent brand to Chengdu in partnership with Newhope Real Estate, with the hotel set to open in Q3 2029. Located in a 233-meter tower in Jinjiang District, Regent Chengdu will feature 180 rooms. Founded in 1970, Regent is part of IHG's luxury portfolio, acquired in 2018, with 11 hotels worldwide. The brand has six locations in Greater China and plans for 12 more, totaling 2,210 rooms.

🏨 The Warbler is set to open this fall at St. Charles Avenue and St. Andrew Street in New Orleans. This 58-room boutique hotel spans 42,000 square feet and revitalizes the former Trolley Stop Café site, closed in 2021. Developed by Verdad Real Estate, it's the firm's first hospitality project, featuring designs by EskewDumezRipple and Jamie Bush & Co. The hotel includes Mildred’s martini bar, a poolside lounge, and a food program with CureCo.

🏨 Minor Hotels focused on Oman and Africa for growth amid the U.S.-Iran war disruptions in Q1. In March, they opened Tivoli La Vie in Muscat, enhancing existing properties in Salalah and Jabal Akhdar. Oman’s hotel sector is booming with 36,800 rooms and 3,300 more by 2027. A new joint venture in Egypt aims to manage 25 hotels, expanding to 50, and Morocco expansions target Rabat, Marrakech, Agadir, and Casablanca for the 2030 World Cup.

🏠 LCH Developments and Ennismore, in partnership with Accor, are introducing two hospitality brands to The Pinnacle Jamaica in Montego Bay. This $450 million project includes 417 luxury residences, 12 private villas, and a 240-key luxury hotel. The first residential tower is set to open in May 2027. The development will feature The Mangrove Club with various amenities, enhancing Jamaica’s luxury hospitality sector and positioning Montego Bay as a premier Caribbean destination.

📱 Joyce Wang Studio revamped the Mandarin Oriental the Landmark in Hong Kong, a decade after their initial redesign. The project covers 109 rooms and suites, featuring a mansion-inspired design with green and orange tones. The redesign includes an undulating staircase, local artwork, and a reimagined bar, Communal, led by chef Richard Ekkebus. The spa will reopen later this year, inspired by calligraphy. The design incorporates Hong Kong’s skyline motifs and historic architectural details.

🏨 Plano, Texas—The Clara Hotel has opened after transforming from the former NYLO Hotel. Located in the Legacy Corridor, it features 176 guestrooms including eight specialty suites, plus meeting spaces, a heated outdoor pool, and a 4,000-square-foot courtyard. The hotel is part of Hilton's Tapestry Collection. Field & Vine, led by Executive Chef Daniel Armand, offers French-Haitian-Texan cuisine, while Archer provides an evening cocktail lounge experience with a navigation-themed drink menu.

🏨 Aspen Hospitality will debut Nell Hotels, launching with Nell New York at Rockefeller Center in fall 2027, designed by Rockwell Group. As Manhattan’s sole Relais & Châteaux property, this 134-room hotel will include a fine dining restaurant with Midtown views. Concurrently, the Little Nell in Aspen will close in April 2027 for renovations, reopening for the 2027-2028 winter season. The Little Nell’s wedding services and Residences will remain operational during this period.

🏨 Peregrine Hospitality expands its portfolio, adding Hotel Yountville and Bardessono Hotel & Spa in Napa Valley. Hotel Yountville, in Yountville, CA, features 80 luxury rooms on five acres, offering a spa, outdoor pool, and event spaces. Bardessono Hotel has 65 luxury suites and is LEED Platinum-certified. It offers wellness-focused amenities, a rooftop pool, and sustainable systems. Both hotels provide easy access to Napa Valley’s wineries and cultural attractions.

🏨 Langham Hospitality Group (LHG) partners with China Xiong’an Group Public Service Management Company to open Cordis Hotels & Resorts and Ying’nFlo in Xiong’an New Area, China. Scheduled for Q2 2028, the complex will cover 23,700 sqm, with Cordis occupying 16,000 sqm and 180 rooms, and Ying’nFlo 7,700 sqm and 120 rooms. This dual-brand approach enhances LHG's presence in northern China, aligning with Xiong’an’s growth as a "City of the Future".
