♥ Waldorf Astoria Shanghai Qiantan opens in the vibrant Qiantan District, Pudong, Shanghai, integrating heritage with modern design. Featuring 204 guest rooms and suites, the hotel showcases architectural elegance reminiscent of a cruise ship, designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox and Cheng Chung Design. Signature dining experiences include ARAME and Fu Cheng. Highlights include the iconic Peacock Alley and a storied clock in the atrium, reflecting Waldorf Astoria's legacy of luxury and connection since 1893.

📍 Blossom Hotel Houston became part of the Curio Collection by Hilton on September 30, 2025. Located in Houston's cultural and medical districts, it offers proximity to Texas Medical Center, NRG Stadium, and the Museum District. Hilton Honors members can earn 1,000 Bonus Points per night from October 2025 through March 2026. The hotel features a rooftop pool, Total You Medical Spa, Blossom Reserve restaurant, and Plum Skybar & Lounge. Managed by Crescent Hotels & Resorts, it targets both business and leisure travelers.

🏨 Aimbridge Hospitality to rebrand six hotels in Mexico, scheduled for repositioning in 2026. Three properties (Cancún, Guadalajara Expo, Ciudad Juárez) reopen in April 2026, others (San Luis Potosí, Nuevo Laredo, Torreón) in October 2026. Aimbridge now manages 10 voco-branded hotels, reinforcing its market presence. Mexico, a strategic market, sees over 45 million tourists annually. Enhancements include capital improvements and integration into IHG’s ecosystem, positioning Aimbridge as a leading third-party operator.

📈 Pan Pacific Hotels Group (PPHG) will manage PARKROYAL Serviced Suites Manila Bay, opening in 1H 2027 with 169 suites. Situated in Metro Manila, the area is poised for economic growth with a projected GDP increase to 6.0% in 2025 and 6.1% in 2026. In 2024, international arrivals reached 14.7 million. Tourists now stay over 11 nights on average, driving long-stay demand. Hotel occupancy in Metro Manila rose to 83.2% in Q4 2024.

🏨 Glasgow, 8th December 2025: Wellington House reopens as The Wellington Glasgow by Adina, marking TFE Hotels' UK expansion. The second apartment-style hotel this month, after The Hobson Cambridge, it features 98 design-forward apartments. Just off George Square and near Glasgow Central Station, it's ideal for business and leisure. Room rates start at £99 per night. Glasgow Airport is 8 miles away with a 15-minute shuttle connection.

🍴 Chef Winston Matsuuchi opened GastroPub Nisei Bar & Grill on November 4 in Las Vegas’ Chinatown. The 4,800-square-foot venue combines a Japanese izakaya with an American gastropub, offering dishes like kalbi tacos and wagyu sliders. Interiors feature modern Vegas aesthetics, with neon accents and mural art. The bar serves cocktails such as Matcha Colada and offers Japanese whisky, beer, and sake. Open daily from noon to midnight, it caters to both daytime and late-night guests.

🍳 Rò Steakhouse launched on October 27 in Coral Gables, Florida, marking ViCa Hospitality Group's first U.S. venture. The restaurant seats 130 indoors, with an outdoor terrace opening soon. Designed with a natural, cave-like ambiance by Arkham Projects, Rò features a menu curated by Chef Marcelo Palacios, including seafood, tacos, and fire-cooked steaks ranging from 8-ounce filets to a 36-ounce tomahawk. The restaurant also offers private wine lockers for guests. ViCa plans further U.S. expansions.

🍴 Yamashiro, established in the Hollywood Hills in 1914, expanded to a new Miami location on October 29, after 111 years. Boulevard Hospitality Group leads the expansion with a 9,000-square-foot rooftop restaurant at Gale Miami Hotel. The menu, crafted by chefs Charbel Hayek and Gustavo Montes, blends Japanese and Miami flavors. Features include Japanese-inspired design and cocktails. Future expansions are planned for the East Coast by late 2026, with two new locations in development.

🍴 In San Antonio, Texas, Esencia, a new restaurant at the St. Anthony Hotel helmed by Leo Davila, will open this winter. The 130-seat venue blends Spanish, Mexican, and Asian culinary influences, offering Texas beef, Gulf seafood, and more. The design mirrors San Antonio’s history, featuring a cantera stone fountain and other Spanish elements. Esencia offers private dining spaces for up to 40 guests, with a drink menu highlighting Asian spirits and Texas whiskeys. Local partners contributed to its creation.

🏖 CHARLOTTE and CHICAGO—Barings and Waterton recapitalize two Outbound Hotels: The Virginian Lodge in Jackson, Wyoming, and Outbound Stowe in Vermont. Poco Diablo Resort in Sedona, Arizona, acquired in December 2024, will reopen as Outbound Sedona in Q2 2026. The Virginian Lodge offers 165 rooms in Jackson Hole; Outbound Stowe has 76 rooms in Vermont's Green Mountains. Management by CoralTree Hospitality includes Outbound Mammoth and Outbound Yosemite.
