🏨 Shangri-La Group, in a deal with United Bodrum Turizm A.Ş., will manage a new luxury resort in Bodrum, Turkey. The announcement was made in Hong Kong, and the resort will open in early 2029. It will feature 70 guest rooms and 10 private villas, located near Yalıkavak Marina. This marks Shangri-La's second property in Turkey, following the success of its Bosphorus, Istanbul location.

🌴 Uga Resorts will open its eighth property, Uga Ghiri, in Ella, Sri Lanka, in June 2026. Spanning 10 acres, the resort features 15 villas and a restored colonial manor, offering views of Nine Arch Bridge and the lush highlands. Nightly rates start at $1,200. Guests can enjoy activities like artisanal tea experiences, cycling, and conservation walks, contributing to biodiversity efforts. The resort includes a spa, infinity pool, and restaurant showcasing Sri Lankan cuisine.

🏖 SpringHill Suites by Marriott opens a 120-suite hotel in Orange Beach, Alabama, designed to capture the Gulf Coast's beauty. Located at 24224 Ruby Lane, and managed by Vista Host, it features spacious suites, a resort-style pool, and The Blue Heron Room, a 1,080 sq ft meeting space. Guests enjoy complimentary breakfast, Wi-Fi, and a modern fitness center. Sales Manager Cole Walker and GM Matthew Sutherland lead the team, ensuring a purposeful hospitality experience.

🏨 The Beaumarly Group, led by Gilbert and Thierry Costes, will open L'Aventure on February 9, 2026, near the Arc de Triomphe in Paris's 16th arrondissement. The venue features a restaurant, club, and a 15-room hotel, designed by Martin Brudnizki and Vincent Darré. The restaurant operates from 12:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The club hosts up to 150 guests, while the restaurant accommodates 200 guests for events. Notable DJs include Honey Dijon and DJ Tennis.

🏨 RIU Hotels & Resorts expands in London with the opening of Hotel Riu Plaza London The Westminster, adding to its RIU Plaza portfolio. This follows the July 2023 opening of Hotel Riu Plaza London Victoria. The Westminster location, featuring 464 rooms, is just a minute from the River Thames and key landmarks. Originally built in 2003, it was renovated in 2021. RIU is growing its urban portfolio, now at 13 properties, with plans for further expansion.
