Designed with Russell Sage Studio and over 20 architects, it features interactive elements like "Press for Smoke." The compact lift, installed in two days, accommodates wheelchairs with an 800mm x 1000mm platform. Challenges included ferry transport and tight space. Custom green paint matches the hotel's decor.

🏨 Lightwell Hotel & Spa opens in downtown Hood River, set in the restored 1904 Waucoma Hotel. Featuring 69 rooms, a rooftop bar, and a subterranean spa opening in December 2025 with a 20-person soaking pool. 📍 Accor has signed an agreement with Mayan Properties to develop five hotels in Sub-Saharan Africa, adding over 1,100 keys. This includes Novotel Nouakchott in Mauritania and Mövenpick Moroni in Comoros. Accor currently operates 175 properties in Africa, totaling over 33,000 keys. The agreement aims to enhance Africa's tourism sector through UAE-backed sustainable investment, leveraging Accor's expertise and Mayan's leadership. This strategic shift follows a 2023 agreement between Lancaster Landmark Hotel Company and IHG Hotels & Resorts. The revamped hotel will feature 231 rooms, a restaurant, bar, and wellness space. Inspired by its past as BBC’s Kensington House recording studios, it honors its musical legacy. Situated near cultural hotspots, it targets travelers seeking cultural experiences.

🏨 MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas unveils 3,969 remodeled rooms and suites after a $300 million transformation. Completed by Gensler, the redesign incorporates disco-era influences and modern conveniences like Smart TVs and USB charging stations. The hotel now offers 753 suites, with upgraded layouts for privacy and functionality. New attractions include NETFLIX BITES dining, Palm Tree Beach Club, The FRIENDS™ Experience, and the FREQNCY residency by Jabbawockeez.
