🏨 Hotel Indigo opened a 153-room hotel in Torquay, managed by IHG and owned by Singapore-based Fragrance Group. Located near Torquay Museum and Torre Abbey Sands, it reflects local maritime heritage. 🏨 Mandarin Oriental opens in Austria, marking its Vienna debut in the UNESCO-listed First District. Located on Ringstrasse, the hotel features 86 rooms and 52 suites. Originally a 20th-century courthouse designed by Alfred Keller, it's now reimagined by Goddard Littlefair. Under Chef Thomas Seifried, four dining venues blend Austrian heritage with global flavors. 📍 BH Group plans a multi-million-pound refurbishment of the Windermere Hotel in the Lake District, a landmark since 1847. Closed since late autumn, the project includes new reception, bar, and restaurant spaces, and a full refurbishment of 75 bedrooms, plus a spa and health club. Marshall’s Building Contractors from Yorkshire is handling the work. The reopening is set for early summer 2026, creating 130 jobs and boosting the local economy.
