🏨 My Place Hotels of America announced the opening of My Place Hotel-Phoenix East/Mesa in Mesa, Arizona. Owned by Opwest Partners and Iridius Capital and managed by Legacy Management, this 86-room property is their third hotel in three years. Located near Mesa Gateway Airport, it features amenities like a 24-hour store and full kitchens. The joint venture aims to open 20 locations in the coming years.

📋 Shanghai, London, and Dubai are set to open the most hotel rooms globally in 2026. Europe plans 123,789 openings, led by London (5,822) and Istanbul (3,017). Asia Pacific expects 251,234 new rooms, with Shanghai (7,457) and Beijing (3,991) at the forefront. The Middle East & Africa aim for 54,238 openings, highlighted by Dubai (5,053) and Qatar (2,406). The Americas project 132,479 rooms, led by New York City (4,852) and Phoenix (3,650).

📍 Avi Brosh's Palisociety is opening The Hôtel Lili in Beverly Hills, spring 2026, at 140 S. Lasky Dr. Originally built in 1939, the hotel now has 44 guest rooms and three stories. The design blends European style with classic Los Angeles charm, featuring custom furniture and signature Palisociety details. Guests enjoy amenities like Bellino bed linens and Diptyque bath products. It's Palisociety’s ninth property in Los Angeles.

🏨 Valor Hospitality expanded its UK operations from 17 hotels in 2021 to 40 by 2026. In January 2026, they added four hotels: Crowne Plaza Aberdeen Airport, Holiday Inn Express Aberdeen Airport, Holiday Inn Express Trafford City, and Hampton by Hilton Liverpool John Lennon Airport, totaling 700 bedrooms and 17 meeting rooms. Established in 2012 in Atlanta, Georgia, Valor now oversees over 100 global properties, with the UK accounting for 7,000 bedrooms.

🏠 Kerten Hospitality and Groupe Ramos announced Casadora Resort by Cloud 7 Hotels in El Jadida, Morocco. The project will feature 156 hotel rooms, 140 branded ryads, and 60 additional ryads under fractional ownership. The resort includes dining, wellness, and leisure facilities, prioritizing Moroccan culture and sustainability. El Jadida, with its Atlantic coastline and proximity to Casablanca, is emerging as a lifestyle destination. This initiative aims to blend modern hospitality with cultural authenticity.

🏨 The Companion Hospitality Group will launch The Companion Vienna at Westbahnhof in March 2026. Designed by weStudio under Piotr Wiśniewski, the hotel features 138 rooms in six categories, including a two-level Velvet Suite. Amenities include the Boca Mediterranean restaurant by Lauryn Therin and Bar Calypso. Co-founded by Kai Hollmann, Florian Kollenz, Christian Lainer, and Michael Todt, the group’s portfolio already includes the 178-room Superbude Vienna.

🏝️ Stonebridge, a Denver-based hotel management firm, has added the Margaritaville Lake Resort, Lake Conroe | Houston in Montgomery, Texas, to its portfolio. This 186-acre resort offers 335 guestrooms, 32 cottages, and 303 suites, along with 60,000 sq ft of meeting space, a golf course, marina, and waterpark. Located 45 minutes from Houston, it enhances Stonebridge's Margaritaville partnerships, with another project forthcoming. CEO Rob Smith emphasizes optimizing performance and long-term value.

🏨 The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) announced Tree of Life Sariska Manor's launch in Tehla, Rajasthan, a conversion project. The resort, with 26 rooms, features dining options like Antler's and The Sparrows, and amenities such as a swimming pool and spa. 🏖️ Meliá Hotels International and Grupo Puntacana plan to launch Paradisus Miches, an exclusive resort, to boost Miches, Dominican Republic, as a prime tourist spot. This will be Meliá's 11th hotel in the country, featuring 600 rooms and over 500 meters of beachfront. The location, only 90 minutes from Punta Cana International Airport, is known for its natural beauty, including Playa Esmeralda and Laguna Limón. The resort emphasizes sustainability and luxury.

📍 Loews Hotels & Co, June, Arlington, TX: Plans announced for Americana by Loews, replacing Sheraton Arlington. Set for construction this summer, it will be Loews' 28th property. The hotel will feature 507 rooms, 39 suites, over 83,000 sq ft of meeting space, including a 10,000 sq ft Event Barn. Total indoor and outdoor meeting space across the Arlington campus will surpass 374,000 sq ft. The Loews campus will now offer 1,695 rooms.
