🏨 Lark Hotels will debut four properties in spring 2026 across Massachusetts and New York. Cambridge Common House in Massachusetts will offer 16 rooms near Harvard Square, while The Drew Hotel in Plymouth will feature 25 rooms. Shore Haven, a 21-room hotel in Falmouth, also joins the lineup. In Hampton Bays, New York, the 18-room Penny Lane provides a waterfront setting. Each hotel is set in a historic or repurposed building, promising unique experiences.

🏨 Shangri-La Group plans to open its second Turkish resort in Bodrum by early 2029. The project, in collaboration with United Bodrum Turizm A.Ş, will offer 70 guest rooms, 10 villas, a private beach, and panoramic Aegean Sea views. It joins Shangri-La Bosphorus, Istanbul. Shangri-La manages over 100 hotels in 75+ destinations. Bodrum is highlighted for its global luxury appeal.

📍 Hyatt Hotels Corp. and Indochina Kajima are expanding the Unscripted by Hyatt brand into Vietnam, increasing Hyatt's presence from 4 to 10 hotels. Wink, a Vietnam-based brand, adds six properties to the collection, with a seventh opening in Hanoi Westlake in late 2026. This expansion, featuring over 2,000 rooms, aims to cater to tech-savvy and social-centric travelers while leveraging Hyatt’s 61 million-member loyalty platform. Wink's properties maintain their unique identity while aligning with Hyatt's standards.

🏨 The St. Regis Singapore, led by FBEYE International, completed a multi-phase renovation of its 299 guestrooms, suites, and dining spaces, inspired by the nearby Singapore Botanic Gardens. New dining venues include Sophia, featuring Italian cuisine from Chef Angelo Sergio, The St. Regis Bar with a Time After Time cocktail menu by Kelvin Saquilayan, and The Tea Room. Event facilities now include the 7,638-square-foot John Jacob Ballroom. This follows earlier renovations completed by early 2024.

🏠 Six Senses Xala, located in Costalegre on Mexico's Pacific coast, begins vertical construction. Scheduled to open in March 2028, it includes 51 suites and 36 single-story oceanfront homes on 3.7-acre lots. Less than 20% of the 3,000-acre site will be developed. Ten out of the first twelve residences sold in the initial sales phase. Amenities feature a spa, fitness centers, and an Alchemy Bar. 🍴 The Algonquin Hotel in New York has unveiled new culinary and cocktail experiences at The Blue Bar Restaurant & Lounge. The menu features dishes like Burrata Brûlée and Lamb Ribs, and cocktails such as Round Table and Hamlet VIII. Collaborating with the Al Hirschfeld Foundation, the redesigned menus incorporate historical Hirschfeld drawings. 🏨 Studio Moren secured planning permission to convert a Grade II-listed Victorian office at 27-28 Clements Lane, London, into a 180-key luxury hotel. The design includes a new metal roof extension, preserving historical features like staircases and cast-iron columns, while targeting BREEAM Excellent with sustainable elements such as photovoltaic panels and a green roof. 🚗 In Deary, Idaho, a new 4-stall Tesla supercharger opened next to The Pie Safe, a family-run artisan bakery. This is one of only three privately-owned superchargers initiated by Tesla in recent months. It is anticipated to break even in 5-6 years, drawing additional traffic to Deary, located two hours from major urban centers.
