Wyndham’s Baymont makes Asia-Pacific debut

🏨 Baymont by Wyndham debuts in Asia-Pacific with the opening of Baymont Kunming Wuhua in China. The hotel, located near Yunnan Wildlife Park and Cuihu Park, offers 92 guestrooms. Amenities include Wi-Fi, parking, and fitness facilities. The hotel features 300 square meters of event space for up to 180 guests. This marks Baymont's first property outside the Americas, expanding Wyndham Hotels & Resorts' presence in China's midscale market.

Accor’s Pullman Hotels hits the change-up button

📍 Pullman Hotels & Resorts, part of Accor’s portfolio, is undergoing a global brand transformation after the first Pullman xChange event in Dubai (13-14 November 2025). New design elements debut at Pullman Dubai Jumeirah Lake Towers, with plans for Pullman Perth Airport and Pullman Hamilton. By 2026, 60% of the 20,000+ employees will complete new training. The brand aims to operate over 200 hotels in five years, with new openings in Guadeloupe, Montenegro, Japan, and New Zealand.

Aimbridge to manage six-hotel voco portfolio in Mexico

📍 Aimbridge Hospitality will manage six hotels in Mexico, owned by Alliance Hotel Management, under the IHG voco brand. Scheduled rebranding is set for 2026, bringing Aimbridge's voco properties in North America to ten. Three hotels will reopen in April 2026: Real Inn Cancún (160 keys), Real Inn Guadalajara Expo (163 keys), and Real Inn Ciudad Juárez (150 keys). The other three will reopen in October 2026 after renovations: Real Inn San Luis Potosí, Nuevo Laredo, and Torreón.

Kohler Co. Announces Expansion of Inn on Woodlake

🏨 Kohler, Wisconsin—Inn on Woodlake will expand with 66 new guestrooms and the Bucks & Birdies entertainment center. The expansion will increase the total room count to 203 and include a social hub with golf and F1 racing simulators. Construction will finish by June 2027. Current operations continue during renovations that already started with demolitions. Kohler Co. is concurrently working on projects like Purebred Farm golf course and The Serve sports facility.

Aimbridge to manage six-hotel portfolio in Mexico

🏨 Aimbridge Hospitality, starting in 2026, will manage six hotels in Mexico, rebranding them under the voco label. The properties, in Cancún, Guadalajara, Ciudad Juárez, San Luis Potosí, Nuevo Laredo, and Torreón, will undergo significant renovations. Real Inn Cancún, Guadalajara Expo, and Ciudad Juárez, with 160, 163, and 150 rooms respectively, will reopen in April 2026. The others will relaunch in October 2026. This expands Aimbridge’s voco presence to 10 North American hotels.

Adina to open new aparthotel in Glasgow’s Wellington House

Hyatt to open 204-room Regency hotel at Olympia in spring 2026
