🏨 In 2022, Tribeca's Fouquet’s New York debuted, becoming a celebrity hotspot. Developed by Joshua Caspi and APW Avenue Group, the hotel showcases a Parisian-New York blend with 97 rooms designed by Martin Brudnizki. The Barrière Group, a French hospitality pioneer, operates it. Construction faced challenges, including a 100-year lease and deep excavation. Revenue is boosted by amenities like Brasserie Fouquet’s and a private club. Plans include a 2030 Fouquet’s in Miami and potential locations in Aspen and Cabo San Lucas.

🏨 Olea All Suite Hotel in Zakynthos reopens on 1 May 2026, featuring a new outdoor pool and expanded wellness program. Located on the island's northeast coast, the 89-suite hotel includes a fitness centre, yoga shala, three restaurants, and two bars. Culinary updates feature guest chef collaborations. Managed by SWOT Hospitality, the resort offers excursions like private boat trips. Nightly rates start at €493 (£425). The company portfolio is valued at €600m (£518m) across Greece and Southeast Europe.

🏨 The Villages, Florida—Hotel Eastport opens in Eastport Town Center, featuring a 91,752 sq. ft. space with 120 guestrooms and a 3,000 sq. ft. ballroom. Designed with mid-century modern aesthetics, it includes an ice cream shop, restaurant, two bars, a pool, and a fitness center. The hotel achieved a 30% energy reduction using sustainable materials. Views of Central Lake connect guests to Florida's environment. Partners included Ignyte, Michael Pape, and others.

🏨 Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced that The Georgian, an oceanfront hotel on Ocean Avenue in Santa Monica, California, has joined The Unbound Collection by Hyatt. The Georgian, opened in 1933, underwent a restoration in 2023. It offers 84 guestrooms, including 28 suites, many with Pacific views. The hotel features art deco details, a restaurant focusing on Californian produce, and Gallery 33, which hosts local art year-round, including works by Sharon Stone and Billy Zane.

📈 Concord Hospitality, in 2026, expanded its management portfolio with key openings and partnerships. The Hilton Jacksonville at Mayo Clinic opened in Jacksonville, Florida. Management of South Shore Harbour Resort, Texas’s largest waterside resort with 237 rooms and over 25,000 sq. ft. of event space, was assumed. The Opus Collection added three properties, including The Waymark in Chattanooga, Tennessee, a 148-room hotel, and The Union Hotel in Flemington, New Jersey, reimagined as part of a larger development.

📈 Essendi's fiscal year 2025 revenue reached €3.428 billion, a 0.8% increase, amid challenging economic conditions. Fourth-quarter RevPAR grew by 4.4%, driven by strong Q2 and Q4 results. The hotel portfolio expanded to 87,199 rooms across 535 hotels, valued at €7.5 billion. Despite a decline in MICE events, geographic diversification in Europe bolstered performance. Strategic focus on discipline, resilience, and sustainability aims to maintain long-term growth and profitability.
