🍺 The Evolv Collection, led by CEO Martin Williams, expanded its Chop House & Tavern brand with two new openings: Stories Tavern in Birmingham on 27th April 2026 and Queens Tavern in New York's Hudson Yards on 4th May 2026. Taverns offer £5 pints daily. Inspired by 17th and 18th-century taverns, the venues emphasize quality and accessibility. This expansion marks the first Tavern outside the UK, bringing London's tavern culture to New York.

📍 G6 Hospitality and Natson Hotel Group signed an agreement to open 18 Studio 6 Plus properties in the U.S. Development starts this month, with the first openings in 2027. Studio 6 Plus, launched at G6’s convention in April, targets extended stay, with 60-80 rooms, full kitchens, and automated check-ins. Natson, with over 100 properties, currently operates 75 G6 hotels. Extended-stay RevPAR hit $78 in 2024, up 14% from 2019, as demand surged.

🍴 Claridge’s in Mayfair will reopen mid-June 2026 as Dante Mayfair after a redesign. The original Dante, established in 1915 in Greenwich Village, is operated by Linden Pride and Nathalie Hudson. They took over in 2015, earning top accolades. The new venue will offer Italian-Australian cuisine and a signature martini service, reflecting Manhattan's influence. Claridge's closed on 10 May 2026 for renovations. The goal is to create a lively community atmosphere in Mayfair.

🏖 OUTRIGGER Hospitality Group opened the 63-suite and villa OUTRIGGER Phi Phi Island Resort on Phi Phi Island, Thailand, in Hat Noppharat Thara-Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park, accessible only by boat. Accommodations feature the Hilltop Ocean View Pool Villa, Beachfront Pool Villa, and Family Garden Villa. Dining includes Mala Kitchen and Edgewater Bar & Grill, while activities offer diving, eco-sensitive tours, and Thai classes. The resort emphasizes local materials and Urak Lawoi traditions. It's part of GHA DISCOVERY, linking to 35 million members in 100 countries.

🏨 French hotel group Airelles opened its first international property, Airelles Palladio, on Giudecca island, Venice. The hotel includes restored 16th-century buildings, offering 45 rooms (28 suites), a one-hectare garden, and four pools. It features a 1,700-square-metre Guerlain Spa, five dining outlets by renowned chefs, and a music venue opening in September 2026. Architect Christophe Tollemer led the restoration, blending French elegance with Venetian style.

🏃️ Tewinbury Farm Hotel, a 700-acre destination, launches Farm Club on June 15, integrating fitness, wellbeing, hospitality, and flexible working. This Hertfordshire site features a 3,700 sq ft training space, reformer Pilates studio, and sauna with ice therapy. Memberships start at £90/month, offering flexibility and exclusive member benefits. Farm Club, developed with wellness specialists, aims to boost Tewinbury's appeal in the leisure and corporate wellness markets.

🏨 Hotel Cala di Volpe reopened on April 16 in Sardinia, unveiling its “Welcome Back, We Missed You” campaign, which celebrates the deep bonds between staff and guests. Managed by Marriott International for Smeralda Holding, it recently underwent major renovations to merge its timeless charm with modern hospitality.
