JMK Group Secures £48 Million Loan to Convert London Office Building into 260-Key Hotel

🏨 JMK Group secured a £48 million loan from OakNorth Bank and REL Finance to convert Peninsular House, a nine-storey office building on Lower Thames Street, City of London, into a 260-key hotel, pending planning approval. The site offers views of the River Thames, Tower Bridge, and The Gherkin. JMK plans to expand its portfolio to more than 2,000 beds within two years, with six additional hotels under development.

IHG and Harisons Sign Agreement for Crowne Plaza Resort Near Delhi, Scheduled for 2029 Opening

Exclusive amenities include a dedicated Villa Curator, private chef dinners, and the new Mirage Market. The upgrades bring the total accommodations to 247 rooms, offering a blend of luxury and modern Southwest-inspired design.

Announced globally in May 2025, this brand spans midscale to upscale segments. Amapa rebrands 5 properties and develops a new one in Italy. Splendid adds 5 UK properties. Marriott’s Bonvoy program has nearly 271 million members. Amapa operates 21 hotels in Italy, and Splendid has 24 hotels with over 2,500 rooms.

Zedwell to Convert 39 Bell Lane in Spitalfields into 143-Room Flagship Hotel with Workspace by 2028
