Choice Hotels to almost double portfolio in France

🏨 Choice Hotels International will open 50 new Quality Suites hotels, doubling its French portfolio to 107 properties. This expansion, part of a 20-year agreement signed in April 2024 with Zenitude Groupe, adds over 4,800 rooms in France, focusing 22% of new sites in major cities. The deal continues to strengthen Choice Hotels' presence in the EMEA region, offering flexible accommodation and senior living options. All properties will join the Choice Privileges loyalty programme.

Lamington Group secures £41.75m loan for net zero hotel in York

Ennismore to open The Hoxton hotel in Madrid in 2026

🏨 Ennismore will open The Hoxton in Madrid's historic Plaza de Santa Ana by 2026. This 192-room hotel will be their second in Spain after Barcelona's 2022 launch. Architect Jesús Carrasco-Muñoz y Encina designed the modernist building, with refurbishment by Petra AM and Urban Input Group. Features include a coffee bar, lounge, trattoria, rooftop bar, and event space. Part of Ennismore's expansion, upcoming locations include Oslo, Kraków, and Hamburg, plus Melbourne and Nashville.
