Residence Inn Albuquerque North Completes Renovation

Upgrades include redesigned suites averaging 636 sq ft, with full kitchens and dedicated workspaces. The color palette now features grey, blue, and brown. The fitness center was expanded to include four machines and free weights, and mobile key technology was implemented. This modernization aims to enhance the "home plus" experience for extended-stay business and government travelers.

Apicii Announces Upcoming Debuts of Four Dining Concepts at Kimpton Era Midtown New York

🍴 Apicii and Extell Development will debut four dining concepts at Kimpton Era Midtown New York in March and April 2026. Bar Rocco, led by chef Rocco DiSpirito, and The Parlor will open in early March, offering Italian-American and European-inspired menus. Amasa, a Latin steakhouse, and Bar Amasa, will debut mid-March. Jade Rabbit, an Asian rooftop izakaya, launches in April. All venues feature unique designs and panoramic views of Rockefeller Plaza and New York City.

Hideaway Round Top Opens as a Getaway in Central Texas

🏠 Texas, 2020: Emily and Rick Seiders opened Hideaway Round Top near Round Top, Texas, on 21 acres of land. The property, featuring a farmhouse and two cottages, accommodates 19 guests. The Seiders saved the land from a planned condominium development. Designed by Studio Seiders and Sam Burch Architect, the main farmhouse is 3,321 sq ft. A second phase, set for 2027, includes two tiny homes and a 3,409 sq ft event space.

The Gibson Cocktail Lounge offers a Nashville-inspired musical theme with collaborative artwork between //3877 and Gibson. The design reinforces a high-end atmosphere through gold accents, plush seating, and immersive tile patterns.

Plants donated by local residents cover undulating facade of SOIL Nihonbashi

🌴 SOIL Nihonbashi, designed by Kiyoaki Takeda Architects and Staple Studio, is a 14-room, 9-storey hotel located in Tokyo's Nihonbashi district. Inspired by the local culture of "alleyway gardening," its rust-red corrugated steel facade features plants propagated by residents. The hotel includes sliding windows for outdoor views, and a ground-floor pizzeria. Staple Studio also reused terracotta tiles from the bench outside for interior designs. This project is part of a larger revitalization effort in forgotten areas of Japan.

Charlap Hyman & Herrero converts factory into cavernous Pocketbook Hudson hotel

🏨 Charlap Hyman & Herrero transformed an 1883 pocketbook factory in Hudson, New York, into Pocketbook Hudson Hotel. The redesign began in 2022 and took four years, keeping the building's industrial features. The hotel includes artist commissions, a restaurant named Ambos, a nightclub, and a design space. Guest rooms feature stainless-steel bathtubs. A wellness facility is set to open in Spring 2026. The project partners include Nancy Kim and Gabriel Katz. Hudson's interest surged post-Covid-19.

OKU Bodrum To Launch on Turkey’s Aegean Coast
