📄 PRISM in Dallas, Texas, announces key leadership changes. Ankit Tandon, global COO, becomes vice chairman of G6 Hospitality, joining the Board with CEO Sonal Sinha. Anuj Ladha is named national head of brand performance, overseeing both East and West regions. Bhanu Mahajan leads U.S. and Canada operations, reporting to Tandon. 🏨 Alejandro Gallegos has been appointed as the general manager of Kimpton Virgilio in Mexico City’s Polanco neighborhood. With over 30 years of international hospitality experience across Mexico, Argentina, and Uruguay, Gallegos will also support the upcoming launch of Kimpton Castelar, reinforcing the brand’s growth. Previously, he led Hotel Alexander in Mexico City and held roles at Sofitel Montevideo Casino Carrasco & Spa and Grace Cafayate.

🏨 The Covenanter Hotel in Falkland, Fife, is on the market with a lease asking price of £95,000 and an annual rent of £70,000. Dating back to 1771, this Category B Listed building features five en suite bedrooms, a licensed bar, a restaurant, and a coffee shop. Owner Ross Moonlight is selling to focus on other interests. Simon Watson from Christie and Co highlights the hotel's strong performance and potential for growth following significant investment.

🏨 Scandic Hotels Group is set to lead Dalata's markets after acquiring the company from Pandox for €1.4 billion in November 2025. The restructuring should end in the second half of 2026. Dermot Crowley and Shane Casserly will step down, with Crowley having expanded Dalata by 16 hotels and 3,800 rooms since 2021. New hotels are opening in Dublin, Edinburgh, and Berlin, with more planned in London, Edinburgh, and Madrid. Des McCann stays as COO.

🏨 The CEO and deputy CEO of Dalata, Ireland's largest homegrown hotel operator, will step down later this year after a post-acquisition restructure. Dalata, managed by Scandic Hotels Group since November, expanded under CEO Dermot Crowley, who joined in 2012 and became CEO in 2021. The company added 16 hotels and 3,800 rooms across Ireland, the UK, and Europe. Three more hotels will open this year in Dublin, Edinburgh, and Berlin, with four in planning.

📈 Luis Arsuaga, appointed by Cushman & Wakefield on 20 April 2026, will lead their hotel platform in Spain with Bruno Hallé and Albert Grau. Spain's hotel investment reached over €4 billion last year, a 50% increase from 2024, ranking it second in Europe. Arsuaga brings over 20 years of experience in real estate and hospitality. His prior roles included leadership positions at CBRE, JLL, NH Hotel Group, Mabel Capital, and Grupo Norvo.
