The complex features a 200-room Courtyard by Marriott and a 150-room Homewood Suites by Hilton. Located 2.5 miles from San Diego International Airport, the properties include extensive amenities and meeting spaces, benefiting from proximity to corporate and government facilities.

🏨 €250 million refinancing from Aareal Bank in 2025 supports InterGlobe's hotel brand Miiro's expansion. Miiro operates nine hotels across Europe and launched properties in Paris and Barcelona in 2024, followed by London in 2025. Two Vienna hotels, renovated with one opening in November 2025 and another set for early 2026, are part of the strategy to reposition former K+K properties and scale as a boutique lifestyle brand.

💸 Three investment groups—Gencom, Argent Ventures, and Highgate—acquired the InterContinental New York Times Square, a 607-room, 34-story hotel, for $230 million, or approximately $379,000 per room. The sale involved a $190-million loan from Monroe Capital. The hotel, opened in July 2010, features 20,000 square feet of meeting space and plans for renovations. Highgate will manage the hotel under a franchise agreement, and Eastdil Secured facilitated the transaction.

📈 Noble Investment Group acquired a 35-asset portfolio of Sonesta Simply Suites, featuring over 4,000 rooms in 19 states and 25 markets. This strategic acquisition aims to enhance performance with operational improvements and deliver stable growth. Over the past year, Noble has invested in more than 100 assets across 62 markets, focusing on areas with consistent demand and liquidity to ensure strong cash flow and value creation. Seyfarth Shaw's hospitality group advised Noble in this transaction.

🏨 Irvine, California—DKN Hotels acquired the Residence Inn by Marriott San Diego Sorrento Mesa/Sorrento Valley in San Diego. Renovations, planned with PK Architects, Gensler, and MJS Landscaping, will begin in Q2 2026. The 150-suite hotel is 20 minutes from downtown San Diego and 16 miles from San Diego International Airport. Amenities include an outdoor pool, 24/7 fitness center, 698 sq ft of meeting space, and a complimentary breakfast buffet.

🏨 Sukhi Gidar, CEO of Gold Care Homes, is acquiring the 382-room Delta Hotels by Marriott Heathrow Windsor with an £18.2m loan from OakNorth. Located between Heathrow Airport and Windsor, this hotel caters to corporate and leisure guests with modern amenities, including 19 event rooms for up to 400. The property was recently refurbished, and strong 2025 passenger forecasts at Heathrow Airport are expected to boost demand for accommodations in the area.

🏨 Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel in Glasgow retained its five-star AA status, scoring 93% in a recent inspection. The hotel, featuring 113 rooms and a renovated penthouse, maintains high culinary standards at Iasg, which sources local ingredients. The spa underwent major refurbishment in 2023, introducing features like a Himalayan salt room. A significant sum upgraded the air conditioning. General Manager Marcello Ventisei and Chef Sean Currie emphasize ongoing investments and commitment to excellence.

🏨 Norwood House, a guest house in Ambleside, Cumbria, was sold for £740k after being owned by Keith and Wendy Morgan since 1996. The 8-bedroom property includes guest facilities and a 2-bedroom apartment. After a 2-year search, business agent Graham Wilkinson from Christie and Co facilitated the sale. Local solicitors, Stuart Bailey and Terri Abbot, managed the legal process. The Morgans are retiring after nearly 30 years of hospitality.

🏨 Ledgestone Hospitality, in December 2025, expanded its management with six Sonesta hotels in Arizona and Nevada, adding 791 rooms to its portfolio. 🏨 Edmond de Rothschild Real Estate Investment Management (REIM) has acquired a Travelodge-leased hotel in Stafford, UK, marking its first UK acquisition. Located in the West Midlands, the hotel has 18 years remaining on its lease. This expands REIM's pan-European portfolio, which spans four countries and five sectors, maintaining full occupancy with a weighted average unexpired lease term of about 14 years. Edmond de Rothschild REIM manages €13.6 billion (£11.8 billion) across eight European offices.
