🏨 Singapore-based SC Capital Partners is acquiring Vietnam's Fusion Hotel Group in 2023, marking its expansion in Asia's hospitality sector. Fusion, established in 2008, operates 18 properties with around 3,000 keys in Vietnam and Thailand. SC Capital's portfolio includes Hotel Management Japan and Topotels Hotels & Resorts, managing over 16,000 keys across Asia. Fusion focuses on wellness and branded residences, tapping into Asia Pacific's rapidly growing market.

💸 PPHE Hotel Group secured a £136.45m facility with Bank Hapoalim to acquire Park Plaza London Waterloo's freehold. This two-year agreement, with an option to extend, replaces a £210m lease liability. Around 90% of the floating interest rate will be hedged. The transaction enhances freehold exposure, reduces inflation risk, and is expected to simplify the balance sheet. Located on London's South Bank, this acquisition includes a first legal charge over the hotel's interest.

They aim to add 20 properties with 1,421 rooms. London plans include €50m-€80m (£37m-£59m) for sites in Bloomsbury, Paddington, St Paul’s, and Victoria. €140m (£104.5m) is allocated for Italy, with additional investments in Lisbon, Porto, and Spanish cities. 80% of capital targets acquisitions and repositioning.

📍 Ocean Cove Group Limited purchased the Gara Rock Hotel and Spa in Salcombe, South Devon for an undisclosed sum. The luxury hotel features refurbished suites, apartments, cottages, a spa, and a restaurant. Originally a coastguard cottage, it has hosted celebrities like Sir Laurence Olivier and was owned by the Royal Air Force. Since 2017, the property underwent significant renovations. The sale was managed by Christie and Co, and the hotel went under offer within five weeks.
