Private Credit Funds Face Increased Redemptions as Blackstone and Blue Owl Restrict Withdrawals Amid Market Concerns

💸 Blackstone, managing over $1 trillion in assets (2026), saw redemption requests rise to 7.9% of its $82 billion private credit fund in Q1. Blue Owl Capital, with $307 billion in assets (2025), also faced withdrawals. Private credit, worth nearly $2 trillion, is illiquid but offers higher yields. Peachtree Group's credit transactions grew by 86.8% in 2025. Walker & Dunlop refinanced $112 million for Ace Hotel Brooklyn. JLL and BridgeInvest highlight private credit's post-GFC rise, filling gaps left by banks.

RealVantage Acquires Heathcote Hotel in Manchester for £14m, Plans Expansion and Renovation by 2026

With 19 competitive loan quotes, the deal closed with an all-in rate under 6%. This is the third loan for this property by Sonnenblick-Eichner.
