🏠 Dubai Holding has acquired the five-star Jumeirah Mallorca in Port de Sóller, Mallorca, Spain, from Deka Immobilien. This acquisition aligns with Dubai Holding's strategy to invest in high-quality international assets, adding to their portfolio of 34 hotels, including 5 Jumeirah hotels in Europe. Jumeirah Mallorca, featuring 121 rooms with Mediterranean views, holds LEED Platinum certification. Dubai Holding, founded in 2004, operates globally across 30 countries with over AED 500 billion in assets.

🏨 Criterion Capital acquired the 732-room St Giles London Hotel from IGB Berhad for £220 million. LondonMetric purchased nine Premier Inn hotels with 955 rooms for £89 million, and Hoteles Globales acquired three hotels in Mallorca with 488 rooms from Cerberus. ECE acquired Staybridge Suites in Liverpool and Newcastle for £25 million, and Bagatelle purchased Hôtel La Pérouse in Nice for €60 million. Alfred Hôtels acquired Hôtel Lecourbe in Paris for €17.2 million, while Cretan Investment Group bought Hilton Garden Inn Athens Syggrou Avenue.

🏝️ Bain Capital sold Cora Resort and Spa in Afytos, Chalkidiki, Greece, to Fattal Hotel Group after a €24 million refurbishment. The 181-room hotel reopened in July 2023, and will be rebranded as Meravia Hotel. Bain Capital managed the asset from origination to exit, contributing to its transformation into a five-star destination. Fattal Hotels aims to expand in Greece, having acquired 50 hotels in Europe over three years, raising €1 billion for expansion.

🏨 St Ives Boutique Hotel, located in Dunoon, Argyll and Bute, is for sale at £600k. Situated on Victoria Parade, the seafront property includes seven en suite bedrooms, a bar, beer garden, and three-bedroom owners' accommodation. Owned by Lesley Stott for three years, it's a year-round tourist spot. Tony Spence of Christie and Co manages the sale, highlighting its profitability and lifestyle appeal. The hotel was brought to market on January 16, 2026.

💵 The Bush Hotel, a Grade II-listed property in Farnham, Surrey, was sold for £12 million. The 95-bedroom independent country house hotel was marketed by Knight Frank Hotels. On January 14, 2026, the sale was confirmed, with strong interest from a UK hotel group. The hotel reports an EBITDA of over £1.1 million. The sale reflects growing investor interest in UK hotel assets, driven by easing interest rates and potential for future growth.

💸 China Merchants Commercial REIT acquired Habyt Austin Avenue for HKD206 million in Hong Kong, priced at HKD7.1 million per key. The 19-storey building, near Hong Kong Polytechnic University, will be transformed into student housing with 85 beds. One REIT Inc purchased Candeo Hotels in Kyoto for JPY4.8 billion, a 7% discount. Gaw Capital bought a Queenstown site for NZD31 million. EVT acquired QT Auckland for NZD87.5 million and sold Rydges Geelong for AUD24.5 million.

🏨 Nottingham Belfry Hotel and Spa offered for sale after administration. Located on Mellors Way, near Nottingham city center, it features 120 bedrooms and event capacity for 700. 💰 HBX Group plans to return up to €100 million to shareholders via a share buy-back, pending approval at the AGM next month. The buy-back will be executed by Bank of America during FY26 and FY27. Regular dividends will begin in FY 2026 with a 20% annual payout ratio, subject to profits and reserves.
