🏨 NexGen Hotels acquired the Claridge House Chicago in the Gold Coast Historic District. Rebranding to Tapestry Collection by Hilton is set for summer. 🏨 The DoubleTree by Hilton Tucson Downtown Convention Center, a 170-room hotel in Tucson, Arizona, received cash-out refinance arranged by Arriba Capital. Developed by Caliber, Rio Nuevo, and the City of Tucson and opened in 2021, it's operated by Highgate under Hilton Worldwide. The refinancing supports ownership, operation, and investment continuity. The hotel, near the Tucson Convention Center, benefits from local events and attractions like the University of Arizona and Tucson Gem and Mineral Show.

🏡 Momento Capital and Mata Capital partnered to acquire a majority stake in Roof, a French student-housing operator, to create a large-scale student housing platform amid France's housing shortage. They plan to invest up to €150 million for over 1,000 student units, with €20 million in equity and €50 million in debt already committed. Their strategy includes transforming buildings into community-oriented residences with amenities like coworking spaces and gyms, aiming for rapid expansion and addressing both investors' and students' needs.
