Where Was ‘Emily in Paris’ Filmed?

  • Charlie Hobbs
  • 15 August 2024
📷 Camille Razat portrayed as Camille, escapes to Monet's gardens in Giverny, France, after a nervous breakdown. The "Emily in Paris" production team faced the challenge of recreating a spring/summer environment during a different season, using fake wisteria and gardeners' assistance. A houseboat on the Seine, chosen for a character's home, was vandalized and burned. L'Ambroisie in Place des Vosges, previously unfilmed, featured in the series with its mirrored walls and acclaimed food, reflecting creator Darren Starr's love for unique dining experiences.

  • Joe Lutrario
  • 7 August 2024
🍷 Alex Price, fascinated with wine since joining an after-school 'Corkscrew Society', curates a unique wine list inspired by European vegetation zones for Plates. His list includes selections from the deciduous forests, Alpine shrubs, Mediterranean scrubland, with plans to expand to Scandinavian wines and a fine wine selection. Price admires Honey Spencer, enjoys Thymiopoulos Blanc des Côteaux Cuvée Amphore, and recommends Roc D'Anglade Rosé for best value. He recently participated in Caia Confluence, a series at Notting Hill restaurant Caia, featuring different sommeliers.
