Hospitable hits $1 million in cleaner payouts as STR operators consolidate onto one platform

Over $500,000 is now being paid to cleaners and property service providers through Hospitable every month, as property managers move away from bolted-on tools and bring operations into their PMS

SAN FRANCISCO, 13 JULY 2026 – Property management software Hospitable has processed more than $1 million in payments to cleaners and service teams through its platform, a milestone that reflects how short-term rental (STR) operators are increasingly consolidating day-to-day operations into a single property management system (PMS).

Payments are now running at more than $500,000 a month, allowing operators to source vetted cleaners, assign work, verify completed jobs, and pay cleaners and other property service providers without leaving the platform they use to manage reservations.

The milestone builds on Hospitable’s Cleaner Marketplace and Hospitable Tasks, which together enable property managers to source vetted cleaners, assign work, verify completed jobs, and pay cleaners and other property service providers, all within their existing Hospitable subscription and without additional software. More than 150,000 screened and highly-rated cleaners are now available through Cleaner Marketplace.

Operational reliability remains one of the sector’s biggest challenges. Recent research from Hospitable found that 34.3% of hosts and property managers lost bookings or received negative reviews in 2025 due to staffing issues, while nearly 40% said they struggle to find dependable local cleaners. As operators scale, managing these workflows across multiple systems can create additional administrative burden and increase the risk of missed tasks and miscommunication.

The trend reflects Hospitable’s broader mission to build the definitive super app for property managers: one platform where every part of the business, from pricing and guest communication to cleaning, maintenance, and payments, runs from a single source of truth. Property managers are increasingly tired of the bolted-on tools that have defined operations for a decade: a marketplace for finding cleaners, a separate app for coordinating them, and another system entirely for paying them. As portfolios scale, the cost of that fragmentation only grows. Bringing operations into the PMS gives managers a single, connected view of their business and removes a category of coordination risk that has long been treated as unavoidable.

Pierre-Camille Hamana, CEO and Founder of Hospitable, said: “The PMS is evolving from a system that records reservations into the operating system for the entire business. Every reservation creates operational work, whether that’s cleaning, maintenance or guest communication. Managing those workflows and the people behind them from the same platform gives managers more visibility, fewer manual processes and a much more resilient business. That’s the direction the industry is heading.”

Launched in 2016 as a time-saving PMS, Hospitable has evolved into a short-term rental super app that goes beyond traditional property management – automating guest messaging with AI, optimizing nightly rates, managing rental agreements and security deposits, coordinating teams, and powering direct booking websites with built-in payments and property protection.
